This Collection is my select group of Civ V Mods that are in active use.
The mods have been chosen to meet personal game criteria and preferences.
These include a variety of mod types and anyone viewing this collection should review each one carefully, including potential effects on one's own particular game, before choosing to use any mod in this collection.

One must take care in using these Mods more than One-at-a-Time.
It may take some trial & error adjustments for a new CIV5 Modder to arrive at a workable combination suiting one's preferences. Some conflict with each other and I do not use all of them in any given game. I frequently use combinations of 50+ mods that do work well.

In general, the approximately 100 "WONDER" mods by Pouakai all are good and present interesting historical background for each. BlouBlou has authored a very useful set of "Utility" mods. "JFD" and "TOMATEKH" have created and continue to update excellent groups of various "Civilization" mods.

Given that, regarding “unit stacking”, I use 3 Units per Tile by Moo Zedong. I agree the infamous “Stacks of Death” were ridiculous. However, allowing no stacking at all results in really annoying movement penalties and unrealistic tactical weaknesses; E.G., naked artillery units.

Some random thoughts:
Perhaps the most visually obvious “Mod” is EUI = Enhanced User Interface.
EUI is available from Forums.CivFanatics.com

EUI is not in the workshop, most likely because of the method of installation.
EUI must be downloaded from CivFanatics & installed manually
( & remember that it will not be shown among the mods SO ...
UNinstalling must be done manually, if you ever need to do that ).

It must be installed manually so it behaves like it's a DLC & won't affect Achievements.
To do a manual installation, follow the “Readme” file instructions. It works !!

The resulting UI provides a great deal more readily accessible game info using Tool-Tips in a neat format with icons arranged at the margins.

2-or-3 mods, which I yet have to exactly identify, cause later-game { Medieval Era } City Interface failure. Something causes the "Production" button in the left side of the City Screen to cease functioning upon reaching the Medieval Era. This, in turn, results in an inability to build Wonders.
Among the suspected "problem" mods are TOFT's FLAGS mods and any mod that modifies the City Screen User Interface.
