Industrial Steel

Description
Adds a new, manufactured, strategic resource, representing mass-produced industrial-grade steel, as produced from the mid-19th century by the Bessemer Process, and later refinements.

This resource has been added as a requirement to a number of modern units. A building to produce it has been added, which consumes iron to produce steel. Industrial Steel is then needed to produce Tanks (and Panzers), Landships, and Destroyers, as well as Stadiums and Spaceship Factories. Grap my Skyscrapers mod as well to get some sweet modern high-rise buildings that require a lot of Industrial Steel to build.

This currently requires G&K, but I'm working on making it work with and without.

Latest update: increased the amount of Industrial Steel produced by one Steel Mill to 3 - 2 was a bit tight. We'll see how it plays now.

I recommend you make the thing spit out like 3 steel per iron BUT also make it use coal, since steel is made of iron and coal. 1 coal 1 iron for 3 steel is pretty good i think. Or just make itbuse coal and iron to make steel

Last time I tested the mod, it worked fine. I don't think there's been any updates to the game since then.

So why add a new resource if its not necessary? Why not just add the iron requirement to more units?

unless ye get smart tv samsung that connects to a blue ray/dv smart thing, along with hdmi cables n internet connection. but thats techno genuis stuff. then u might get to 3d landish sort lol
