Why does this Rome create protestantism?

One of the few greats ever to have genuinely shaped the world for thousands of years. Nice work.

If you use Tomatekh's excellent Historical Religions mods, the default religion for this Civ appears to be .. Lutheranism? In one of my recent games, this Civ had first pick (while Eastern Orthodoxy was still available), and the AI went for that. It's also a weak AI opponent, as in two recent games I played (with Community Balance Patch) it ended up a quickly diminished competitor. The AI doesn't seem to be able to handle its strengths. Other than that, no bugs: stable mod.

Lucinius ( Alexander) of the Eastern Roman Empire is a thorn in my side for the scenario. campanion calvary are no match however for my prize ship legions (all romes start with legion units which as constantine means half of my swordsmen are legions (the other half are frontline walls i dont care about.

why not simply have a line of code that gives Constantine the default roman legion and ballista?

Could your mod be linked to the mod adding 3rd and fourth unique components? This Rome could receive those new components.

hey JFD long time no see, im doing a crisis of the third century scenario. I'll make the map later but, i have the unit fix complete (each civ get like 6 total units), however im trying to give your Roman Scenario the UA of the default rome with the following line of code (seperate somewhere else and there seems to be an issue) The Palymra part seems to work however the part for this mod has an issue. I'm letting these civs keep default UA as well considering that they both will have far less land than the Central Romans
