Description
Although Gustavus Adolphus considered Finland part of his kingdom, some Civ players (including me!) feel uneasy with the idea of Gustavus' founding Helsinki or other locations in Finland. This mod rewrites the list of Swedish city-names from scratch, replacing nearly a third of the originals with cities that still belong to Sweden. (I'm saving Birka for a modpack project based on early Scandinavian history, so it's been replaced as well.)

***NEW IN THIS VERSION:***

* Corrected a bug which caused new list entries to appear incorrectly (as TXT_KEY_CITYNAME_FOO instead of the actual name).


NOTE: this mod requires the Gods and Kings expansion.

I should indeed remove the cities that Denmark and Norway controlled, for consistency's sake; if any Swedes out there want to suggest replacements, they should post them in the comments.

It would be a tremendous help if you could also exclude the Danish cities, still held by Sweden. It wasnt until 1660 the Eastern part of Denmark was conquered. Malmo, Lund, Halmstad, Varberg, Falkenberg, Solvesborg and so on should, as they where historically, be founded by Denmark/Denmark-Norway.

If the Finnish cities are removed, then the other non-Swedish cities as Reval and so on shouldn't be used as Swedish cities.

All cities of the Swedish empire of that time or no non-Swedish city.

Maybe the cities Reval (Tallinn), Dorpat of Estonia, Riga of Latvia, Stralsund or Wismar shoule be included? They are all examples of Swedish cities or towns of the Swedish empire at one point...

good that u made this mod so I can use my finnish mod, cause it would be strange if there is 2 helsinki, turku etc :P

1.
The Swedish name of the city You called englishly "Gothenburg" is Göteborg.
In Sweden call the Swedish cities as the Swedes do.

2.
The name of TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_SWMOD17 is missing.

I think it's okay that Finnish cities are part of Sweden, but they should be writen in Swedish as all Finnish cities in the game have Swedish name. Helsinki = Helsingfors, Espoo =Esbo and Turku Åbo
