Overview
Important Note: This collection will not work without using Irony Mod Manager. Please reference the installation & usage below for proper setup.

A heavily patched mod collection geared at function over form. There's no texture, model, portrait, load screen, etc. mods in the collection.

The idea is to create a pack with extreme amounts of content, while still remaining stable. Primarily this is focused on a long and thorough playthrough with the idea of tackling Gigastructral Engineering end-game opponents. The Aeternum. Beyond that, Acquisition of Technology Phanon Corps are available as a target. Ideally this should be played with 5-25x crisis strength with ACEMOD configured to spawn all the crisis possible throughout the game. The galaxy should be under threat constantly starting at mid game and the objective is not to rule the galaxy, but to ensure nothing else does.

Do not expect this to be well balanced. Do not expect it to be easy. Do not assume this will play like any Stellaris you've played before. This is a highly modified experience and almost every aspect of the game has changed dramatically.

Highlights
  • Gigastructural Engineering: The foundation which is supported by the rest of the mods.
  • Planetary Diversity: Adds a ton of variety to the Stellaris Universe. This makes changes to planet types, planetary deposits, terraforming, habitats, ringworlds, and more.
  • Real Space: System Scale (Scaling Lite): Using many different patches, everything has been scaled so combat takes place in a smaller area. This leads to more tactical engagements.
  • Ancient Cache of Technology & Acquisition of Technology: Another extreme content-heavy mod, similar to Gigastructural Engineering, which provides much needed technological advancement.
  • Civics & Ethics - Bug Branch: The foundation for government and ethics for the pack. Other mods have been vetted to be compatible. Anything that was lacking compatibility has been merged through Irony patch mods to make it work as cleanly as possible.
  • Diverse Traits, Unified Traits, and Xenology: Excellent trait mods which provides much needed variety, without going overboard. Custom patches are in place to make all of them interact appropriately and balance the outliers.
  • Expanded Starbases: Adds a huge amount of depth to the starbase playstyle, allowing more starbase modules, buildings, and adds another tier - the Stellar Bastion.
  • Immersive Beautiful Stellaris: While this is generally a cosmetic mod, there's a few key differences which make it worth adding. It adjusts the camera to operate more smoothly in the galaxy, as well as improving the UI of the galaxy to support many fleets in the same system without UI overlaps.

This foundation has been complemented by countless other mods which have been merged together to be as compatible and stable as possible.

Installation & Usage

Subscribe to all the mods in the collection. Then use the following Irony Collection Export to import the collection into Irony.

Ensure the patch mod is enabled, merge the collection using basic or compress merge and launch the game.

Recommended Settings

When starting the game, there will be a lot of windows that appear asking for settings of each mod. If you're unfamiliar with the mods, I suggest you look at the Discussion Page where I cover every setting.
