F5 is for Technology

Description
That's one small change for the game, one giant leap for gameplay.

Swapped Technology and Expansion Planner position and the according F-Shortcut.

Why? I am using the Technolgy window way more often than the Expansion planner and I wanted a shotcut for it, simple as that.

  • Tested for: 3.0.*
  • Compatibility: no problems found so far
  • Iron man: yes
  • Achievements: no (F-shortcuts are set in the commons folder, any changes in the common folder will prevent achievements)

Check out also Now you see me (Lower Navbar) if you want to display your technology window in style.

I am writing these mods to enhance my own gameplay. I am mainly playing multiplayer matches against a friend of mine. The mods I am doing are mostly results of the discussions we have about the game during our gameplay. I am uploading these mods so my friend and I are able to share the same experience during the game. Feel free to download, but I don't guarantee I'll keep this alive during every iteration of the game

Thx Emmy :)

It appears this mod is no longer needed, as technology can now be accessed by the F4 key in the latest update; I will just have to get used to pressing F4 and not F5.

Sad to say goodbye to one of my favorite QOL mods ever, much love o7

Defines were not changed for this code snippet in 3.4 so it should work just fine for current version. Although I have not officially tested it.

Same question, but for 3.4? :)

@The Illusion Thx for testing, haven't played Stellaris for a long time myself.

I will change the description to tested for 3.0.*

Compared VS current defines data and it should work fine.

Has anyone tested this for 3.0 +?

Dunno if it's working. As written: Tested for: 2.6. Feel free to try it out and let me know. Not playing Stellaris lately.
