Here are the maps and themes of mine I feel okay recommending. The first items are my map themes A-Z, and then maps A-Z

Click on the name of the map to visit its page, check it out and if you like it, subscribe there. Almost all maps here have special requirements (trees, a theme, rarely a mod). The map's listing has helpful popups to alert you to requirements, and always has neat info for you to know about all the features that are built into the map, and where they are located, so that you can plan your city's future growth more effectively.

To make the cut:
- No Errors / Problems
- Function well specifically to game mechanics (no late game surprises!)
- Happy Players
- Acceptable visual design (i.e. do I even like what I did)
