Description
The vanilla version (does not require subscriptions nor DLC) is located here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2034806081

The city in the images is from a Cities Skylines Global Buildoff, and is available for download: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2054196925

This version of the Sunset Harbor map has custom trees and a beautiful map theme from our talented content creators. Thanks to you all for your work on beautifying the game.

----------------------------------------------------------------
You don't need any DLC to play this map, but if you *do* get Sunset Harbor, this map has all four fish types. The locations of different fish types depends on the map maker. They have to do with the current and depth of water.

Anchovy: shallow + still water
Salmon: shallow + flowing water
Shellfish: deep + still water
Tuna: deep + flowing water

Because of the water physics, the one difficult fish to design into a map is Tuna. The best way I've found is to have a narrow straight through which flows a very rapid and deep flow of water.

The land, with lots of pockets of water and rolling hills, is meant to be like northern fishing areas that were under glacial ice, for example Maine USA, Sweden, Finland and such.

Hi, this map is amazing and I think it would be great if you would make a version, with new vanilla trees!

There's a link to a non-DLC version of this map in the description. I made it just for folks like you, Covalence. Also, it sounds like you have some mod issues and/or too many subscriptions which exceeds your RAM. https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2034806081

The title also says Mass Transit so I’m assuming yes (probably for some of the roads) Covalence.

Do you *need* Mass Transit to use this map (the description says no DLC needed but the sidebar says Mass Transit required)? I tried without it and it was bizarrely glitchy - constant errors, missing tiles, infinite money despite no infinite money mod and being unable to purchase anything, normal 3-lane highways missing, glitched terrain, the starting tile covered in zoning (and the game crashing on exit) and I'm wondering if not having the DLC somehow causes that :(

Am playing on your Steel town map, It's great as it doesn't seem to have too many traffic problems which I'm in the process of figuring out (with the help of Biffa's youtube adventures as well as a couple of others. But this is a great game so far, and very addicting! Again, thank you muchly! (When all else fails...read the directions!):tabbycat:

Woohooo!!! Yeah it does take some researching and reading the LSM modder's lengthy but super helpful guides. He/she put so much work into that mod.
Hope you have fun building and share some screens sometime if you want!

It took me a while, and some research, but I did it! Thank you so much for the skip.txt file, the neighborhoods are so much better looking now!!! You are the best! :steamhappy:

That's a very nice little city! How long did it take for you to build all that? And another question (hahaha) how did you know what to choose for a "skipfile"? Seems to me there is A LOT of stuff! Where do you start? I know there are very, well not ugly, but undesirable things you don't want in city. (well, ok, some are just ugly! TBH) I'm always impressed by how talented some folks are - Thank you!:tabbycat:

No problem! If those numbers go to yellow, be concerned. If they go to red - OH NOES!!! :winter2019joyfultearssnowman:
Oh, I forgot. The city save for this map has LSM instructions and my skip.txt (which you could use as an example). The skip.txt skips all the ugly default stuff you don't want loaded, saving tons of RAM. https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2054196925
Happy mayoring!

Thank you! I do have the Loading screen mod, which is great! (Wasn't real sure how to use it at first, sort of figured it out as time went on, so to speak!) Also, didn't really know what the purpose of the RAM numbers in the middle were, but now that you've pointed it out, makes sense! Again, Thank you for your patient and prompt reply - most appreciated! Perhaps one day I will try another map other then "Newbie harbor"! :steamdance:
