Description
The Lord of New Shorehaven has called for aid from anyone who will risk their lives for riches and renown. An abandoned island housing the remains of his ancestral castle appears to be occupied by an unknown guest. As war approaches, all threats must be dealt with.

Details: This is a full campaign with a balance of storytelling and encounters throughout.

Duration: Should last roughly 30 hours on average. A lot of content is optional.

Levels: Starts at level 1 or 2 and ends at 11 or 12 max level. You will easily reach level 12 if you are thorough in exploration.

Difficulty: The difficulty is intended to be moderate (on authentic). Anyone looking for a seasoned challenge should try Scavenger difficulty or higher.

Suggestions: A balanced party is likely best but nothing is necessary. At least one class capable of area of effect spells would be highly recommended but there are wands and magic artifacts on vendors and in exploration to help with this as well.

Special Considerations:
-A wand of identify is available on vendors and one found in exploration.
-Crafting is fully implemented but isn't necessary
-There are numerous custom weapons
-There are several side quests

Known Bugs:
*If you are playing multiplayer, if the ending lore on leaving the final area does not properly transition you to allow for exporting characters, try saying 'No' on the prompt. If that doesn't work, going through on single player, saving, then loading up back in multiplayer will work. Its a base game bug for any exit that has lore text attached.*

*If you still have an old subscription to 'The Forsaken Isle' that does not have the two hyphens, one on each side, please unsubscribe and sub to this new one. That is an old version that was necessary to be put to rest due to a nasty bug. You can unsub from the list of your subscribed items on the workshop.*

There is now a 'soft' sequel to The Forsaken Isle called Morrows Deep. Details and download here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2914649745

And yet another follow up to both The Forsaken Isle and Morrows Deep. The Red Crow is here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3074665840

There is one locked door in the tavern that requires a check or a knock spell. The one behind the barkeep is just for show.

nevermind, just found it in a natural way, but really got lost for some time looking for it inside the manor so i guess i'll soon find out about the locked room at the tavern. again great work on making the campaign. also the goblin caster was a cool fight, didn't spot him at first so again, 28 lightning damage took my poor warlock by surprise

@anemoi, that quest you will likely find in general exploration eventually but for a small clue I'll say that access to the key can't be obtained until a different access path to the manor is found. You'll likely find this path along the main quest line too.

Thanks for playing it. I think this campaign still holds up well and the soft sequels get progressively more involved with official material added into Solasta.

off to a great start, didn't play the required dlc campaigns, bought them just to play this one. off to a great start by now, minotaur fight took me by surprise but was really exciting nonetheless. any help with "Locked away" quest though? I felt like i've scrolled through the whole manor but don't seem to find the storage key anywhere, is there a stat requirement to find it?

@Smiledozer, that's a limitation of the engine and is a problem in all of Solasta. Walls won't stop aoe cone/aimed attacks. Only upside is that you can exploit the same limitation with your spells.

hey great campaign but lysanders cube is fucking bullshit. i don't know if it is bonked game mechanics or this map, but being able to cast cone of cold and lightning strike through marble walls is nothing short of fucking bullshit. But apart from that, good module

Thank you, that helped. In that room beyond the wall, I found it really hard to find the tile to step on. It does not highlight with ALT. I did eventually find it though.

If you're in that hallway in the south, look for a ground floor tile to step on which should lower some walls. https://i.imgur.com/6kRzpg2.jpeg I made an image here. The top green circle being where the wrappings are found. The orange circle takes you to the southern area. Then the yellow circle is the wall to crawl under. Then the blue circle is where a stepping on a tile will lower the walls, allowing you to leave. That's the sequence that should work, barring a bug of some sort.

Which room? Can you take a screenshot of it? I'm a little uncertain where you're actually at.
Artyoan  [author] 19 Mar @ 8:35pm
@noralorraine, if you've got the wrappings, the teleporter back down the hallway to the south should be active if everyone steps on it, sending you to a different area further south. If you've done that then there is a resting point there and a wall that you can crawl under (near some sarcophogus/tombs) by clicking on the other side of the wall.
