Never have I ever played such an experience of a game. I've gotten all endings and I don't regret a single second of it. It can be a somewhat tedious game, especially on hard difficulty. I do not recommend hard difficulty, just play normal or even easy. The tedium has it's purpose, and if you play this game, for the full experience, I recommend reading the book (you can find it online) that explains more of the story of this game.

Keep in mind the game is a JRPG. It's a third-person action game, imagine a much more relaxed and casual version of the Devil may cry combat. So leveling up is important, and if you play on hard, you'll need to grind for materials and it is the worst.

This game has the best story and worth of an experience I've ever been met with. If you're looking for a good story, an experience, something completely unexplainable, this is my best recommendation 100%. You HAVE to play it. The game should absolutely be experienced blind, apart from accessing the 3rd, 4th and 5th ending which you should use a guide for.

Go play it. I have no more words, just go play it right now. It is worth every damn penny.

This game is fantastic, do not think for one second that this game is overrated. Nier: Automata is one of the best games to grace the earth and I will stand by that statement, EVEN IF I myself did not enjoy the game.
For the people who want to know if this gameis worth it, it is. Good gameplay, good visuals and a brilliant story that may make you question a lot of feelings. I'm going to explain why I personally did not enjoy it, but don't let that influence you. And if you play this game, play it to full main completion. There are multiple endings and you should get all main ones. I promise it will be worth it if you enjoy the first.

In my very subjective and personal opinion, Automata fell flat. The music is good, but I was riding off the high that was Replicant that blew my mind. The gameplay was good, but it didn't quite satisfy me and I was looking more for the story. The story itself is good, but... All the things that should've made it special just didn't work for me. What the game is trying to say and what it sets out to do was not for me, and that's a shame. I think I understand Automata and it's many messages, they just don't matter to me as much. But I know for some people they do, and I think this game becomes more and more important as we are approaching the future.
