@Zachita thank you, sincerely.

Just here to hope you are well and state that there is still interest in your work :)
DeeHasApples 9 dec 2021 om 2:28
@dninemfive Haha gotcha, no worries. I will wait patiently. Good work seriously! I've been using this longer than you've been maintaining it apparently, and bless you for picking it up.
dninemfive  [auteur] 7 dec 2021 om 13:05
@DeeHasApples I have no intention to find someone else to maintain this mod at this time.
DeeHasApples 7 dec 2021 om 11:27
@dninemfive Ah, been there before, absolutely no rush. Just thought I'd leave a comment, because of out of all the mods I've used currently not updated to 1.3, this is the one I miss the most. Would you be interested in passing over the lead to another modder? (note: i have no plans to ask anyone, just curious)
dninemfive  [auteur] 6 dec 2021 om 0:35
@DeeHasApples I'll try over winter break, but no promises. I have severe depression and am about as busy as I can manage at the moment.
DeeHasApples 5 dec 2021 om 23:39
Can we please get a 1.3 update? I love any mods that expand on the severely lacking art job, and this mod became a staple in my modlist, no matter the era. I really miss my Art Galleries with the walls fills with these paintings. Also nearly all of my main rooms used the Chandeliers, from your Misc. mod.

Thundercraft 9 sep 2021 om 4:17
Any chance of an update for 1.3?
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 29 jul 2021 om 15:27
And please add

<altitudeLayer>BuildingOnTop</altitudeLayer>
<passability>Standable</passability>

And then in the /buildings section

<isEdifice>false</isEdifice>

Making it standable and disabling the edifice works perfectly, I've tested it ingame and you don't need to change the art or anything
PoofyGummy 28 jul 2021 om 16:05
Could we get 1.3 pretty please?

LMAO STORED PAINTING IN COOLER STITCHES
Hook&Needle 5 mei 2021 om 17:46
I made paint at the stove and it is stored in the cooler. I set bills on the easel to make painting supplies from paint to paint paintings. Nobody will work at the easel; attempting to force them says that they can't paint - need material. Are there canvases that need to be made somewhere? I used the mod before (picked this game up again after several months not playing, everything is updated) but I don't remember needing anything else. Thanks!
Vulpsune 5 mei 2021 om 8:31
Thank you for doing this, it is one of my favorite old mods
Taliesyn 7 apr 2021 om 20:26
Ahh, gotcha. Thanks!
dninemfive  [auteur] 7 apr 2021 om 20:09
@Taliesyn The tempera paint recipe should produce significantly more paint than the normal one.
Taliesyn 7 apr 2021 om 19:45
So there are two recipes for paint, one that makes paint and one that supposedly makes tempura paint. The latter costs more materials, but they both output the exact same 'paints' object. Is there an actual difference between these two other than one requiring more resources to create the same thing?
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 30 jan 2021 om 19:43
What it does is allow you to place paintings and another piece of furniture on the same tile and have the painting not collide with things like the pool table's surroundings. Testing my edit and it works ingame as intended, I can place paintings on the same tile as a chair or other item next to the wall and it doesn't impede it. It does not allow a 2nd painting in the same tile, either.
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 30 jan 2021 om 19:42
No, this doesn't make them placeable on top of walls
also altitude layer is for graphical purposes
dninemfive  [auteur] 30 jan 2021 om 19:14
@Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug Altitude layer doesn't actually affect where a thing can be placed - that's mostly handled by the PlaceWorker. Making paintings placeable on top of walls rather than adjacent to them has been suggested several times but I'd have to redo the art and there were a few other tedious things to fix last time I tried it out.
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 30 jan 2021 om 16:36
I think what you need to do is

<altitudeLayer>BuildingOnTop</altitudeLayer>
<passability>Standable</passability>

And then in the /buildings section

<isEdifice>false</isEdifice>

Although I'm not 100% on the altitude layer being right because pottery seems to not be able to be placed on top of some modded furniture. The only other altitude layer I can think of is blueprint but then it hovers above their heads
Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug 30 jan 2021 om 16:14
I'd like to suggest making paintings an object that can be placed above other furniture like pottery from the pottery on tables mod so you can put them above dressers or chairs
dninemfive  [auteur] 3 okt 2020 om 0:10
@V I believe there's a mod on the workshop which fixes that bug, even, but my internet is too spotty to find it atm.
V 2 okt 2020 om 20:01
Oh, disregard my previous comment. I read page 2 comments after I posted and noticed you mention it being an in game bug.

For anyone else experiencing that issue, make a new drug policy -- don't edit existing one. Fixes it.
V 2 okt 2020 om 19:58
Spectago tea isn't under the in game drug menu. I don't think any of my pawns are drinking it on their own.

I'd either like to have it in drug menu's and designate it to be consumed for joy, or have it be a food item that can be consumed for joy like chocolate.
dninemfive  [auteur] 20 aug 2020 om 12:05
yes

Update for 1.2?
dninemfive  [auteur] 4 jul 2020 om 18:13
@Felios Hmm. I'm not sure if I can disable that without breaking spectago, but I'll take a look.
Felios 4 jul 2020 om 17:15
Hey I just got a warning that the (friendly) Empire would be angrered if I administered spectago tea to a sick guest. Is that just me?

I found a pawn with a white guy fro and +10 double passion artist skill and kind trait. I nicknamed him Bob Ross. He also tamed an adorable little helper monkey. This mod is perfect for him. He's going to paint some happy little trees in my mountainous jungle smokeleaf compound. Thankyou.
Luetin 15 mei 2020 om 12:00
Thank you for continuing to update this
Lady Lulu 13 mei 2020 om 22:46
Thank you! <3
dninemfive  [auteur] 13 mei 2020 om 10:24
I just pushed the fix. It might take a bit for it to update on your end.
dninemfive  [auteur] 13 mei 2020 om 9:59
@Lady Lulu No, but I did accidentally set that recipe to require the TemperaPaint research. Will fix immediately.
Lady Lulu 13 mei 2020 om 7:18
I made paint at the stove, but I don't seem to be able to use it to paint with or to make painting supplies out of. Is that recipe missing too?
alonto 10 mei 2020 om 14:27
Thank you very much!! And no worries about the time, I appreciate the work you do here :)
dninemfive  [auteur] 10 mei 2020 om 0:37
@alonto Sorry for the ridiculous delay, the recipes have been re-added now.
alonto 28 apr 2020 om 12:32
Thank you :)
dninemfive  [auteur] 28 apr 2020 om 11:18
@alonto Will take a look when I have time.
alonto 28 apr 2020 om 11:16
I managed to get 1 painting supplies from a merchant, and now I see that the easel doesn't have a job for creating a painting. Possibly another missing recipe?
Alleykat 26 apr 2020 om 2:04
Ah thank you! That would be it.
dninemfive  [auteur] 25 apr 2020 om 22:52
@Alleykat It should be. Note that drug policies don't include drugs installed after you started the save; this is a vanilla bug.
Alleykat 25 apr 2020 om 21:32
Thanks for the mod :)
I was wondering, is Spectago tea meant to appear in drug policies? I may be missing it but I think it's not appearing in my drug policy list.
dninemfive  [auteur] 25 apr 2020 om 18:31
@alonto Interesting, I don't know how I could've missed that. Will fix ASAP.
alonto 25 apr 2020 om 16:58
I don't see the recipe for painting supplies in the stove. Am I missing something?
