Mauer der Toten map intro:

Story Quest (Tin Man Heart)
Before activating Pack-a-Punch, we recommend that you do the following:
  1. Buy the perk "Death Perception" from Der Wunderfizz and search the trash on the border between East and West Berlin.

You can get a lot of different parts there (for buying/upgrading armor or weapons), but the most important thing is a microwave dish, which is needed in the future.

  2. Do an Easter egg with a disco bunny for a potentially good reward.

Tasks to be completed for the story quest Mauer der Toten:
  1. Activate Klaus assistant
  2. Strengthenin Klaus
  3. Open the secret laboratory
  4. Prepare nuclear charge
  5. Defeat Valentina
  6. Detonate nuke
  7. Escape from Berlin
Activating Klaus
Klaus is a robot created by Elizabeth Grey and kept in an underground CIA bunker in West Berlin. He is a key link in the entire plot of the Mauer der Toten map.

To activate it, you must first collect two items:
  • Hands
  • Battery
The first item can be obtained by standing near room 305 and turning a regular zombie to your side using the Brain Rot ammunition modification. Then a temporary ally will break the barrier and open access to the hands and a mysterious safe from which you can take the CRBR-S miracle weapon.

The battery will be dropped from the Krasniy Soldat, which will appear on round 10.

🟥 Wonder weapon CRBR-S
The player has several ways to get this weapon:

    Random Easter bunny loot
    Very small chance
    From the mystery box
    Small chance
    Legendary reward for completing tasks
    Medium chance
    By completing certain actions
    GUARANTEED

Once Klaus has been activated, the player must summon him to a nearby locker with the newly obtained tactical equipment replacement.

The robot will open the locker and the player will receive an ultraviolet flashlight. With this flashlight, you can find out the code to the safe from room 305.

But before you go in search of the code, tell Klaus to stand by this wall, which he will break through.

The code consists of three combinations of numbers, their possible location is as follows:

№1 — Garment factory

    On the board
    Above the door
To the right of the pallet

№2 — Service passage

    Under the pipes
    Above the aisles
In the corner of the corridor

№3 — Grocery store

At the poster at the entrance
    At the stand
In the corner of the room

Memorize the code of each number and enter it in the safe near each key separately. In the example above: 38-16-24.

After checking the correctness of the entered code, the player will open the safe and get their wonder weapon.

Upgrading Klaus
Now the robot needs to be strengthened. Insert the existing plate into the empty stand in the sewing room, then call Klaus. He has to kill a few dozen zombies until the stand emoji turns green.

Afterwards, order the robot to stand next to the stand again, after which it will automatically fix itself, and the player will have to defend it for one minute. The stand is very fragile, so you need to protect it at all costs.

After a successful defense, Klaus will be upgraded, as evidenced by the fact that his weapon has been given Pack-a-Punch camouflage.

Level 2 and 3 upgrades for Klaus are optional.
For more details, see the «Klaus's optional upgrades» section.

Later on, Klaus will need to get a hacking helmet.

Using a wonder weapon (any), you need to shoot at some objects on the map to get additional story items:

  • electrical panel at the subway station

  • a radio in an electrical store - there are three of them and desired item is in one of them;

  • antenna in the starting location.

After getting all 3 of these items, interact with the seated Klaus.

Berlin Lab
In the place where Klaus broke through the wall, there is another iron wall. In order to get rid of it, you need to pick up the «Blazer Mod» (which shoots a slow laser) and burn the iron for a few seconds.

As soon as the player enters the lab, the remaining zombies will die and the next round with «Tormentors» will begin.
Making nuke
Stage #1 - collecting the etheric charge

Having fought them off, the player will be able to pick up the canisters (each separately).

And after shooting with wonder weapon at this device, he will receive the lure of the «End Station», which is very much like the essence trap from «Firebase Z».

The last item can only be in one item per player and will replace tactical equipment.

Then you need to find 3 special devices for canisters. Place the flask in this device and throw an essence trap next to it. Three «Tempest» mini-bosses and a bunch of other enemies will appear nearby, but the first ones are the main target.

After you finish all three, the canister will be full. You need to take it and return it to the laboratory in the same place. Be aware that at this time, many special enemies will appear to stand in your way.

After installing the canister — take the other trap that appears and head to the other two devices to repeat everything a few more times.

Stage #2 - Forming the bomb shell

Go back to Klaus, wake him up, and then head to the room with the «zero locker» — there you need to change the train's path.

After that, tell Klaus to stand on the rails — the ones away from the Mule Kick perk. After a while, he will get into position and take the impact of the train.

In the carriage, you need to quickly find the following two items and take them away (the bomb and Rico's key):

Stage #3 - uranium collection

After receiving the access key, use the computer in the room with the robot.
Click pages until you activate the High Priority Target (HPT) mission, gaining new intelligence in parallel.
After activation, head to the buffer zone — that's where Megaton and his squad will land.
After killing the Megaton, two pieces of uranium will drop from it, with a lifespan of 5 minutes.
This is a mission you cannot fail!
Take one piece and head to the nearest workbench — it's located near the task computer (West Berlin).
As long as you carry it, the uranium deals 2 damage per second.
To regenerate your health, leave it for a while.
After interacting with the workbench, the player will have access to a uranium device.
To get the purified uranium, you need to collide both of these devices at high speed.
To do this, use the zipline between the Korber building and the neighboring hotel.
Repeat the same with the other piece and place it on the other side of the zipline
So they will soon collide and create purified uranium, which must be taken to the laboratory and installed in the place where the canisters are.
Fortunately, there is no time limit.
To get the new objective, go to the same tent where the workbench was (West Berlin).
There you will find the second computer to call another priority target.
This Megaton will appear in the starting location, on the roof.

Repeat the same procedure with uranium again.
To avoid running to the far tent, there is one in East Berlin with a workbench: use it and place the uranium on zipline.
Attention — after placing the second refined uranium, the boss fight will immediately begin
The player only needs to insert the obtained uranium into the device with the flasks to enter the final part of the Easter egg. Before that, they can still level up their weapons, buy perks, and make other preparations.
Boss fight
Dr. Valentina eventually turns out to be Angelika Hannabelle Vogel, the daughter of the scientist Ulrich Vogel, who was the director of the «End Station Project» (Die Maschine).

The best weapon against her will be:
  • CRBR-S (PAP-3)
  • Death Machine
  • Flamethrower

At first, she is under a protective force field that must be destroyed, but Valentina is able to quickly restore it. In addition to her, the player will be attacked by many other zombies, killing them can give improvements for the wonder weapon.

Its main attack is spamming aether crystals, which very quickly destroy character's armor and deal a lot of damage. The best action against this attack is to run away!

After dealing a certain amount of damage, she will move to another location on the map. If for some reason the player does not come to her, she will teleport him to her. During this time, the player can repair armor, buy support, buy/redeem perks and other preparations.

In addition to the annoying crystal attack, Valentina is able to regenerate her health at the expense of other zombies. To prevent this, you need to either remove such a thing in advance or kill those levitating near her at the moment.

Another attack that will appear later is the oneshot explosion. You can see when it's coming by the blue aura around the edges of the screen. To survive, you just need to go behind cover and not be in her line of sight.

Regardless of where the boss has moved to, the final part of the battle will take place in the same laboratory. The tactics don't change: shoot down the power shield, deal direct damage, shoot regular zombies to simplify the battle and save ammo, run away from the crystals and hide from the explosion.

After defeat, it will be exhausted, and the player can only interact with it to activate the cutscene.

But after this scene, there is one more additional short fight - you need to clear the way for Klaus to carry the bomb to the portal.

For completing the storyline, the player will receive the Dark Ops achievement «Tin Man Heart»:

🎵 Musical Easter Egg
As with Die Maschine and Firebase Z, you need to collect 3 cassettes on the map:

On one of the mannequins in a garment factory (East Berlin)
On a table outside the bombed-out hotel opposite Der Wunderfizz (West Berlin)
On a shelf in an electronics store (East Berlin)

As a reward, the player activates the song «Amoeba» by Adolescents, and the song becomes available in the Music Player section:

🥚 Easter Egg «Awards from sewer»
After the electricity is turned on in the area, a mysterious hatch will open in East Berlin. After throwing a grenade in, the player will hear a mysterious scream.

The more grenades you throw in there, the higher the chance that a new explosion will drop an additional reward.

Most often, it will be resources, an LT53 Kazimir grenade, and much less often - a random jar of perks.

🥚 Easter Egg «Hasenbau Club»
In order to get into the secret VIP club, you need to collect six parts of the toy rabbit (one of which is available only after the power is turned on). Their location is as follows:

    Room 304 (East Berlin)
    Allee (East Berlin)
    Bar (East Berlin)
    Sewerage, opposite the stand
    Department store (West Berlin)
Grocery store (East Berlin) - only after the power is turned on

After completing the last part, the player is teleported to the Hasenbau disco club, where a familiar rabbit is the DJ.

The player's task is to survive three waves of zombies, including mini-bosses. If the player fails to meet the time limit, he will be moved back with several ammunition (Max ammo).

If successful, the rabbit will invite the player to the podium, where they can choose one of the doors with a reward inside.

If the player is very lucky, then in addition to the golden chest, there will be a miracle weapon CRBR-S inside, and the player will also receive the Grand Prize achievement.

After 15 rounds, the player may notice the same plush rabbit at the window of the Hasenbau in East Berlin. After shooting it, the user can repeat the whole procedure above with the defense for a second attempt.

After another 15 rounds, the last chance for the match is given.

Please note then when you visit again, 3 doors will be available again, each with a new reward."
🥚 Easter Egg «Aether Tool»
The Aether Tool is an item that increases the rarity of weapons by one level.

In order to get it in Mauer der Toten, after turning on the electricity, the player must return to the starting location on the roof to find the next sheet in the corner:

When you interact with it, it launches an Easter egg game, the essence of which is to destroy moving targets with a tactical or sniper rifle (other categories are not counted). Missing a target will result in a failure:

By the letters of the Königshaus Hotel
In the open window two floors below
    By the letters "Korber"
In the windows of the building opposite diagonally
    By the letters "Der Dozent"
Once the player has successfully knocked down all the targets, Aether Tool will appear next to them
🥚 Easter Egg «Additional Klaus upgrading»
In order to upgrade Klaus, you must first find special electrical panels (2 out of 6). They are located in the following locations:

    In the starting location
    Next to the Stamin-Up perk
    At Cafe Muller (West Berlin)
    At blasted suite (West Berlin)
    Next to Klaus
    In the subway

Next to the desired shield, there will be a mark with a robot head that appears under ultraviolet light.

Activate Klaus and tell him to stand next to the panel. He will automatically hit it and player will be able to pick up the floppy disk.

After taking the floppy disk, head to the booth to re-upgrade Klaus. The process will take some time, and it may even take two separate rounds to level up.

    Pack-a-Punch 2 - Goth
    Pack-a-Punch 3 - Punk
