Requires me to create an Activision account to play the game.

Cannot create Activision account no matter how many tries, fixes, or whatever I do to try and make it work.

Game looks fun but I could never play it.

Nope, gotta log into those third party accounts so big game cooperations like Activision can make a couple more bucks to add to their already hundreds of billions of dollars.

Would hate to put Activision's greedy higher ups bank accounts out. :(

Big game studios stash those billions and still sell outrageously expensive games and greedily try to make quick bucks alongside microtransactions. They still even sell old games like modern warfare 2 (2009) for 50-60 including the tiny dlc whenever we're all out here struggling to even feed our families with this inflation apocalypse.

Modders make better and more stable games than triple A companies nowadays.

Yeah this review got pretty intense really fast and that's how annoying it was to buy this game and refund it because it wouldn't even let me play it because of their nonsense third party account creating instead of just letting us play right off of Steam, no, they gotta make a quick buck to add to their billions.

I pray God helps us all.

free zombie DLCs

Call of Duty: Cold War is, in my opinion, the best Call of Duty in recent times. I got this game on launch day back on Xbox One, and played it constantly. I was so happy to see it come to Steam last year, as I have now moved to PC.

I feel like a lot of COD campaigns in recent times have been easy to write off, not all that interesting. However, this one, this one was great. It really took me back to those old Black Ops days, it immersed me quite well. It may not be the flawless classic COD experience, but this was the closest we've gotten in a long time. I really enjoyed this campaign.

I understand why people didn't like the multiplayer all that much, the score streaks of this game are handled very differently, and Air Patrol sucks, but it felt like classic arcade COD to me. I could run around and gun mindlessly, work on camos, and actually do well. I was so sick of the heavy "tactical" multiplayer of COD MW 2019 where people would camp in corners.

Also the zombies, well yes is not as great as it used to be (operators really don't do good for the story), I still heavily enjoyed it. It's my most revisited next to the king of zombies, Black Ops 3. I love running around as Samantha Maxis and just grinding Firebase Z like crazy. Honestly, a blast.

Basically, there's a lot of fun to be had here. This is definitely my favorite COD game in recent years. Just pains me that all my achievements don't carry over with all my progress from Xbox. I guess that's what SAM is for.

20/10 BUT...

Can play with Jess.
Can Kidnap Jess.
Can ♥♥♥♥ Jess.
Can carry Jess.
Can play Prophunt with Jess.
But because I can not rail the ♥♥♥♥ out of Jess, this game is only a 9/10
