It's not perfect, but it's the best tool for pixel art I've found so far. The LUA scripting interface means you can add a lot to it and make it even better.

I double-dipped to buy this on Steam after finishing it all on PS4. Great game! Shame RE3 didn't live up to it.

I came to the party late here, and was concerned about the hype being misleading. Hype is totally true though, this game is rad.

I am so disappointed by how Resident Evil 7 looks to be turning out that I wanted to come back and recommend this game. It's dated from a tech perspective but still captures the same fun it did many moons ago. I'm really surprised Capcom haven't capitalized on the format and made episodic content using a modern version of this engine akin to what they were attempting to do with Biohazard Online.

Game starts off great and really feels like it's recapturing what made the original fantastic. However by the 50%ish mark it turns into really poor killboxes and unbalanced challenge. Fair enough I'm playing on the second hardest difficulty, but having to memorize areas and spawn patterns isn't my idea of fun. It's a real shame because the further you get the less fun you have.

So go spend your time elsewhere unless what you want is a memory game in the guise of a shooty-killy funtime.

The UI is so bad! So so so bad! I keep getting in a cycled loop trying to exit menus by pressing escape, which brings up the "main" menu, and tab should be exit, but sometimes it's not. It's like not a single person at Bethesda has any experience in UX.

And you know, the rest of the game is probably pretty fun. But the UI is so breathtakingly painful to work with I just don't want to invest my time in playing. I wish I had bought direct from Steam so I could request a refund.

The core gameplay is really fun, but gets continually ruined by the poor story and significantly un-fun story missions. I wish Konami had spent time making a fun and engaging story to match the core gameplay mechanics and left out the Resident Evil 4 rip-off story with story missions that arbitrarily change game mechanics to drive set pieces.

Such a disappointing title compared to Ground Zeroes. That was a slice of everything fun in this game, and if you have that then you don't need this.

The game is very narrative focused, so it's hard to really explain what makes it so enjoyable without spoling it. In brief; coherent and engaging narrative mated with strong use of simple gameplay mechanics leads to a slowly evolving mystery around the titular Ethan Carter.

Worth the price of admission, provided you have some patience.

Been a long time since a game could draw me in like this. The atmosphere is spot on, and the feeling of impending doom is like no other.

Be warned though, it does fall into the tropes of many games. Sometimes it is far too like Alien that it breaks belief of it being a legitimate entity on it's own rather than playing off your desire to have explored the set of the Nostromo in first person.

Overall a very rewarding game though, and I intend to sink further time into it once all the DLC is out!
