So I always played fallout 4 on xbox but got it for pc cause I want to play with mods. But problem is I never modded this game on pc before. On xbox it installs automatically. So I got no idea what im doing. Is there any modern modding tutorials?

For settlement defense, wanted to know if it matters if the defense is carefully setup, like have turrets in protected locations, fences to block off dangerous area, enemy need to come from the front and face all turrets at the same time, or to the AI its just a number, 10 turrets randomly placed is the same as 10 turrets carefully placed....
