New Creation Club Content Free for Everyone

Enclave Remnants
Some say the past is a scar, cut across the skin of the Commonwealth. Others believe it's a scab clotted over an unhealed wound. Those who fought the Enclave, and those who serve them subscribe to the latter. And when the scab is broken the flag of this old-world cabal will once more stand at full mast. Unless of course, you stop them first. Features the classic Enclave Colonel uniform and over a dozen workshop items! If you have other Enclave creations installed, some of these troops may use this equipment against you!

(Quest "Echoes of the Past" starts on the road north of Saugus Ironworks.)

Performance mode: 60 FPS target, 4k resolution, standard settings, relying on dynamic resolution scaling.
Quality mode: 30 FPS*, 4k resolution, ultra settings, should not require dynamic resolution scaling.
*When connected to a 120Hz display, Quality mode will target 40 FPS.
*When connected to a 1440p display, the title will run at 1440p resolution at 60 FPS w/ ultra settings regardless of rendering mode

Bethesda should not have updated Fallout 4 without consideration to it's community.

It must be said that one of the only reasons they did was due to the TV Show. It generates more interest into the game which equals more sales/creation club bucks. Its okay to be a corporate business, but I hate seeing people lie to themselves thinking it was some messiah update like they're turning over a new leaf. Love the game or hate it, it's what the vast majority of Fallout players are playing. _________ Here are my points: > They did not update this game out of the specific love of the game/play...

Finally updated game, and didn't fix a single issue. But now the mods I used to fix it, don't work. Another classic Todd move.

as usual they break the game with a ♥♥♥♥ update, ultrawide "update" doesnt scale UI and broke old mods that fixed it correctly.

Do texture and LOD mods work at least?

I've read that the high resolution texture dlc may be causing the crashes people experience in this new update. So why don't they replace textures with ones like the HD overhaul pack from Luxor and generate higher resolution LOD's with xLODGEN/FOLIP/Synthesis? Are those broken too?...

Next Gen update after well over a year of work includes...some content that was made by modders, not Bethesda.

Zero real bugfixes, no actual UW support, PhysX still broken despite nVidia publicly stating how Beth can fix it, physics still tied to framerate, HD texture pack is still trash.

Modders have done more useful fixes to FO4 in the last week than Bethesda managed to do with years of work. Many of which are temporarily broken by the update.

This is absolutely unacceptable - better to have not wasted everyone's time than release a quarter-assed update with literally no working fixes and some free modder-made content.

I'm not a typical Bethesda hater - they've done some great games and do have some actual talented content artists. However they really need to take advantage of the resources that come from being part of Microsoft and owning technical powerhouses like id - there is no reason the game could not have been put into a significantly more modern state for this so-called "Next gen" update.

We are releasing a free Fallout 4 update for PC players! Experience Fallout 4 on your next-generation PC with widescreen and ultra-widescreen support, as well as fixes to Creation Kit and a variety of quest updates.

Players with PC versions of Fallout 4 on Steam, Microsoft Store and GOG will receive stability, mods and bug fixes. For Japanese and Chinese language players on PC, Bethesda.net login issues have been resolved, fixing access to mods.

Fallout 4 will also be Steam Deck verified.
