A short and sweet experience to fill up an afternoon. Would recommend!

TLDR: A good pick up if you like Diner Dash type gameplay loop. Not a good match if you are more into the management side of things. Story was not strong enough to keep my attention to the end. Enjoyable for the first few hours and worth picking up if on sale. A good compact experience for people with limited time and a good effort from an indie developer (from what I can see this is Roost Games first game)

I did enjoy my time with this game. I can see in the community that the devs are passionate and responsive. They're engaging in the forums and working on bug fixes and taking feedback. The first two hours of this game are really good. I think from there the gameplay and story fails to keep your attention to the end unless you have a more completionist compulsion or like the clicker, grind type of gameplay loop. Happy to have bought it, played it, but I won't revisit this unless there is a major update in the future. I will be looking out for future releases from this developer and am interested to see where they go from here.

In it's way though, this is fine. My personal tastes don't require a game to last 10+, 50+ or even 100+ hours. I like these little experiences and I enjoyed running my cafe. Thanks for the game!

A lovely, brief puzzle game that can fill an afternoon.

This is a really good game which I would recommend to people who are a fan of these choose your own adventure type experiences. Each play through can be radically different with the exception of the beginning mission. I think this game would really benefit from a save feature. It auto saves after completed tasks and this resulted in a few extra hours of play, backtracking.

I loved the first game. Really enjoyable high paced cooking game for those of you who like the genre. They have added a lot of cool features making this a better successor to CSD 1.

!! Personal opinion alert !!

I was really disappointed I couldn't get into this. The camera was miserable and I found myself feeling physically sick after 30 minutes. Maybe that contributed to me just not connecting with this game. I felt bored and couldn't get myself through more than an hour.

I know there any many people who love the game. You may as well. Just wasn't for me.

This is an interesting game to keep you occupied for 2 hours if you like the visual novel, puzzle type genres in games. I enjoyed slowly uncovering this person story. A short, but sweet game.

Firstly, I just want to point out clearly that this game has A LOT of mature content and is in no way appropriate for young players. If you watch the trailer and read reviews you should see this but just in case it's not clear, THE CARTOON ART STYLE DOES NOT MAKE THIS A KID FRIENDLY GAME.

That being said, this is an excellent puzzle game. One of the best I have played recently. As is often the case with these games, there is little to no replay value due to the uniqueness of the puzzles so you need to rely on one fun experience. Spiral Scouts does this really well. I had a few 'laugh out loud' moments. It's silly, it's stimulating and it's worth the price for 5 - 7 hours of fun.

Usually I enjoy these types of games and out of a library of hundreds of games to play, this caught my eye and I was looking forward to playing something new tonight. That being said, I pushed myself through to the end and it wasn't very satisfying. I didn't find either of the narrators telling their stories relatable and was pretty much only in it for mama fox. There are some moments where it caught me by surprise and showed potential but compared to other games in this genre on the market it doesn't quite stack up.

Overall I think the main drawbacks are
- the controls (clunky, takes ages to get anywhere)
- the writing (not terrible but I was playing to see what happens to the fox, not the actual narrator which to me at least speaks to how little his story impacted me)
- voice acting (it just sounds so unnatural in certain parts, it's difficult to explain)
- boring (when a game is only about 1,5 hours long and half way through you want to get it over with, this is not a good sign)

This game is well worth the asking price. It kept me entertained for hours and has lots of love put into it. A nice game to play when you want to just listen to music and take your mind off things.
