I really enjoyed divide by sheep. It's a cute puzzler that kept my attention until the very end.

A nice time waster that delivers a good Mahjong experience whether it be competitive (timed with rankings) or casual. A lot of effort has gone into the artwork and costumes and the game even provides you with a neat changing room to try on different outfits. ^^

If you are a 90s kid who grew up in the 00s, you will most likely get a chuckle from the references in this game. I was really surprised by the amount of work and care that went into this. You get into chats and you're sent links to videos, music and even Facebook pages, all modelled as how they would appear in the mid to late 2000s. Clearly a passion project from the developer. That being said, if you're not into dating sims or visual novels this game will probably leave you wanting to play something different. If you are into those types of games though I must say that the different paths the story can go in makes it replayable and genuinely interesting to get through. I preferred the ending options in this version compared to the original and can see the developer has improved and grown in general.

I like to give these games a chance every now and then because sometimes they can offer decent puzzles under some pretty meh graphics. Sadly that was not the case with Yeti Adventure. The expression on the Yeti's face pretty much matched my own throughout my playthrough - a sad contemplation of 'Why? Just why?'

I would like to start off by saying that Contrast works around a clever mechanic with a very good trailer, soundtrack and voiceacting. That being said after having 100% completed Contrast I sadly can't recommend it for the following (subjective) reasons;

1. Controls. The PC control scheme is not intuitive - play with a controller, not a keyboard. I don't know how many times the controls just wouldn't respond properly. There were two occassions where I literally had to step away from playing this game for WEEKS because I was so frustrated with the controls.

2. Story. I'm not often too critical on story but this is a single player experience that revolves around a story. These characters are not likeable, not engaging and the actual story is a mess. The voice acting was fine and the singing in particular was really good but wow... I just could not get into this story or come to care about any of these characters.

3. Save points. You cannot save when you want - you need to wait for certain events and the game will then save for you. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when THERE ARE ACHIEVEMENTS FOR GETTING THINGS RIGHT ON THE FIRST TRY!!! Game - it's not cool to put this in place for certain achievements and then not allow players to save close to these points. Having to restart and go through ish you've just done just to get to those points again is beyond frustrating. The game will also at saves register objects picked up but not luminaries so you wind up running around to get all the luminaries again. There was also a point where I dropped a ball into an area that I couldn't carry it out of again so boom -
need to reload from a save that was VERY FAR BACK when it could have been avoided if I was just allowed to save my game. This is especially necessary to have in games that require exploration as often if you're searching for missing items you might take a wrong turn and want to go to a quick save. Frustrating and unecessary.

4. Misleading trailer. When I saw that tralier I was like 'woah - this looks amazing!'. The trailer is not what this game looks like. The screenshots are also in my opinion not faithful to how the game actually came out. The game itself in the form it's in is not bad - this is a 5 year old game at this point but I just looked at these trailers and screenshots again and can't help but feel like they are not truly the same. Maybe I'm stupid and they were clearly cinematics but yeah, I thought it was gameplay and felt a bit disappointed.

Again, this is subjective and not everything in the game is bad. A lot of people really enjoyed this game so it may still be for you but definitely not worth it for me and I would not play this again.

Pretty good for a beta version of a game. Will give you an hour or two of entertainment with a friend for free - what's there to really complain about?

For completionists: One of the hidden achievements was a little finicky but still managed to get it. You see the purpose of the game is to escape - usually only one person can escape. We thought the hidden achievement was finding a way to get you both out and we tried to do so for a good 30 min. We managed to both get onto the other side through a glitch but no, we weren't getting our hidden achievement!!! Eventually I gave up, found a YouTube guide that was a troll *yay* then went to Steam forums. Turns out in order to get this achievement I needed to Find a red lever in the maze and turn it on and off 10 times in a row to get a happy ending - get it - happy ending? wasn't really worth it, a little juvenile for me personally but yeah.

Overall good beta! Worth a look x

Tetrobot and Co is a really nice puzzle game with decent challenges for you completionists out there. It had interesting puzzles, a neat soundtrack and a simple story to tie it all together. Would definitely recommend.

Not only did I play this game - I completed it.

Upon completing it I was invited to a private group on Steam made up solely of 100% completionists for HuniePop.

I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed.

One day on Youtube I happened to find
a playthrough of the strangest kind.
Loving visual novels I was quick to install
Doki Doki and it began to enthrall.

I played one round, to a bittersweet end
an ending of which I couldn't comprehend.
I went back to try correct my mistakes,
nothing I did could fix the aches.

The glitches started, the music cracked,
my hair standing on edge I felt the impact.
I tried my best to get through it all,
I was too freaked out - I had to uninstall.

This was such a lovely game and I strongly recommend it to anyone that is a fan of point & clicks or lawyer/crime investigator games like Ace Attorney. I remember my first playthrough of the third chapter - I had missed some items during my investigation and it led to a bad courtcase and serious consequence for not paying enough attention and doing my job properly. I genuinely felt badly for letting that character down and was compelled to try again. It's not often that I find games that flush out characters well enough (in a short gaming experience) for me to really give a gosh darn about them and this is accredited to excellent writing.

What a gem! Beautiful art, funny script, interesting court cases and multiple endings.

Buy buy buy buy!!!
