Whoever likes ARPGs should have Grim dawn in their game library, period.

Some optimization issues (this is a beta after all) but overall a good game to sink some time in

This is the latest Monster Hunter Generations, this is not Monster hunter world.
Make what you wish of this, but know that this is a great game.

After a few hundred hours of play time, trying out all the content the game has to offer (Wars, Outpost rush, Open world PvP, Crafting, Portals, Elite areas etc.)

I can say with confidence that this is both:
-A game with a great idea behind it/potential.
-A total dumpster fire, a garbage game made by amateurs

-The engine is garbage, you can smell the spaghetti code from miles away.
-Lag is prevalent
(Wars, which are the end game pvp content, are a slideshow where players are stuck frozen in time, towns are laggy, even the 20v20 battleground is laggy)
-Bugs are rampant
-Dupes and exploits are everyday occurence (at one point new ones were unveiled every day)
-Undocumented "ninja" nerfs to game content, balance is near nonexistant.
-Automated bans due to mass reporting is a thing (even if the devs lie about it)
-Support is what you expect, close to non existant (feels like you talk to bots most of the time)

So yeah, I'd advise anyone interested to stay away from this trash for now.

Simply the best ARPG available

After around 1.4k hours spent on it, i decided to uninstall.
Why ? because the game is all in all not worth it.

I am not gonna keep being patient with a game-developer that has shown a total lack of ability to run an online service.

- A plethora of bugs
- Huge performance issues (server related and engine related)
- Non-existent balance
- A dev/publisher that doesn't care

This is literally a game that is centered around multi-faction conflict, where you can't have decent fights 50% of the time.

And don't get me started on the performance in pvp areas in prime time...


All in all, a great potential, but crappy execution and a dev/publisher that has no clue

One of the best medieval RPGs / RPGs i've played in years.
Meaningful choices, intricate combat system, freedom
