I like the combat system, but the environment is a bit boring. But overall, the game is still good.

Played base Rise after World, hated it. Tried it again after starting Wilds, liked it a little more. Went back to World after playing Wilds and realized it changed...or moreso I changed. World wasn't the perfect game I remembered it as. The combat was clunkier. The camera was hard to manage. The game looked different standing in the shadow of Wilds. Perhaps I treated Rise to harshly. Got Sunbreak and gave it another go, but this time really embracing the differences Rise had to offer. The combat was sharp and fluid and fast and versatile and engaging and fun. The Wirebugs are genius. The Switch Skills are genius. The Buddy System is genius. The Roster is genius. The Eastern Influence is genius. Rise/Sunbreak is genius.

And this is coming from a Lance one-trick.
