So I've played MOBAs for a long time and have over 1000+ hours on smite before it was on steam and used the old Hi-Rez client. In my honest opinion I prefer this over any moba out today because of the mythology aspect. I love history and all things about other cultures so being able to see my favorite cultures in a game is astronomically amazing to me. I love how they try and recreate each god to how they are portrayed across multiple folklore. And each new one is even better than the last. I also love how they offer a pack for unlocking all past, present, and future gods. It makes it good for the new player if they don't have time to farm to unlock them or if they just want to get straight into the action with an arsenal of powerful gods. I also like how they do their best to make all gods around the same power level. I will say though when they release a god the first patch they are out they are a bit OP but they roll out balances pretty frequently. They don't have a big scene like League of Legends for example but its tight nit and pretty positive and forgiving. They have multiple game modes so its not to easy to get burnt out on just the standard 5v5 mode.If you are looking for hours of fun and an easy way to make friends I suggest giving SMITE a try after all it is a free game.

It's a breath of fresh air from SV and other farm sim games, I started my farm sim journey with Harvest Moon then AC to SV now to Coral Island. It does take a minute to get off the ground and start running. I wished I saw the kickstarter campaign as I would have donated. Aside from not being complete and wanting to do everything, it is a great game so far and I look forward to seeing the finished release.
