Why Satan is better than god christian?
Perspective is everything. Growing up Christian, we take for granted that God is good, Satan is bad. But why? The only reason we're taught to think that is because Satan is trying to tempt us away from God.
But what if that's a good thing? What if God has been the bad guy all along, and Satan has just been looking out for us?
The question is purely philosophical, and assumes for the sake of this thread that the Bible is true and all characters in it existed as written. I am not stating this as my belief, but rather as an alternate way of looking at the Bible's narrative.
Let's start with an easy one: Body count. How many people has God killed, according to the Bible? Anywhere from millions to tens of millions, depending on who you ask. Floods, famine, fire from heaven, bears sent to maul children, and so on. And why were all those people killed? Because people didn't do what God wanted. Millions and millions killed because they weren't God's BFF.
What about Satan's body count? Ten. And those were Job's family, who God told the Devil to kill in a bet that his follower Job wouldn't lose faith if everything was taken from him. God didn't kill them, but ordered the hit to satisfy his ego. And after all the torture and misery of poor Job, God won that bet. Because Job is an idiot.
What does God want from us? Loyalty, blind faith. He wants our devotion, no matter what, even when he causes immeasurable suffering. We're even referred to as "sheep" numerous times. And for what reward? An eternity at the side of the same being who wants us to serve him without question.
What does Satan want? He wants us to think for ourselves, to use our bodies and minds to live a life of our choosing, to be happy. Why were Adam and Eve kicked out of the garden? Because they ate from the Tree of KNOWLEDGE. God wants us to be ignorant, Satan wants us to think. Nothing in the Bible suggests Satan wants us to harm others or show intolerance.
What about Heaven and Hell? Not sure what brand of Christianity you know, but in my cul... uh, denomination... all we were told about heaven is that it's living in the presence of God forever, while Hell is simply a separation from God. That's it. There is nothing about a lake of fire, eternal torture. All that was made up later.
I think the idea of Satan being the "evil one" is simply propaganda from a totalitarian regime. God is nothing more than a cosmic dictator, requiring us all to be slaves for eternity. The Devil wants us to be free and prosperous, to celebrate who we are.

in conclusion the fact that people have been taught that god is good does it have to mean that this is the way it was in fact I want to think in my own way I don't want to be a puppet dog in a cage and I think that being an antichrist atheist is one of the better things good luck to ambitious people in this life<666

To co mnie najbardziej irytuję w katolikach to ich przekonanie, że są pępkami świata, wszystko kręci się wokół nich, każdy kto coś tworzy napewno robi to z myślą czy obrazi bozie czy nie XDDD. Do głowy im nie przyjdzie, że ktoś może nie nawiązywać do chrześcijaństwa. Tak jak występ Irlandii gdzie ci wszyscy przerażenie katolicy absolutnie pomijając nawiązania do kultury celtyckiej czy folkloru Irlandii. Widzą rogatego chłopa czy babę i odrazy diobeł. W wcale nie jest tak, że rogaty diabeł nawet nie pochodzi z Biblii tylko został zajebany przez katolików z innych kultur. Tak jak większość rzeczy. Naprawdę katolicy to płatki śniegu wśród religii.
