@Elizalexa Jones I can. I just have not had much time recently to do it so I have not yet but I promise I'll make it by the end of next week since it is such a simple change.
Elizalexa Jones 16 Nov @ 12:44am
I'll have a look at the code (been awhile) but i'm pretty sure you can set the AI weight to null for the decision and they won't ever take it as they see it as completely useless to do
ColdCristal 15 Nov @ 8:48am
yah dontt work
Lupin Angelord 13 Nov @ 3:52pm
somehow the mod dont work in my game
Guildar_  [author] 13 Nov @ 11:10am
@Dknight While I like the idea, the only problem is that a player in Europe might not be able to reach that amount of realm size easily and might have trouble with the three empire requirement given how large the empires tend to be. I think I might just make a variation of this mod that will not have the A.I. be able to form the hegemonies.
Dknight 13 Nov @ 10:58am
Personally would increase the realm size requirement to 200/235 if you don't have at least 3 empires—at least this way it'll make it more difficult for the ai to form a hegemony.
Guildar_  [author] 13 Nov @ 9:09am
@Scyobi_Empire There is no way to prevent the A.I. from forming a hegemony. The only way to disable this feature is to disable the game rule for custom empires and kingdoms but it would disable it for you too. Sorry.
Guildar_  [author] 13 Nov @ 9:07am
@無壹 I added your link to the description and I added the translations to this mod as well. Thank you for the translations.
Scyobi_Empire 13 Nov @ 5:30am
is there a way to prevent the AI from forming a custom Hegemony?
無壹 12 Nov @ 9:27pm
@Guildar_ Such a great mod!I want more Chinese player to use it, so I've translated it into Chinese, could you please add a link in description?

Here's my translation: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3090564070

@Clinton Bot 9000 Yes, and taking the decision to split the Eastern Roman Empire as the hegemony of Rome allows an Eastern Roman Empire hegemony to be formed!
Clinton Bot 9000 12 Nov @ 8:18am
Fun fact, restoring Rome in vanilla forms a Hegemony!
Guildar_  [author] 11 Nov @ 7:03pm
@Lonely Sora Oh, okay. It is a vanilla bug then. Thank you for testing and letting me know.
Lonely Sora 11 Nov @ 2:22pm
@Guildar_ @Xherdos The same was the case when i played the vanilla indian hegemony.
Guildar_  [author] 10 Nov @ 1:15pm
@TurtleShroom This mod should not overwrite anything. All it does is add a decision to make a custom hegemony in the same way you would make a custom empire.
TurtleShroom 10 Nov @ 12:44pm
What does this Mod overwrite?
Xherdos 10 Nov @ 7:32am
When i was playing as China i sadly never had the Chance of getting it.
Guildar_  [author] 10 Nov @ 4:59am
@Xherdos I'll look into that to see if I can fix it. From what it sounds like, it just sounds like the tributary system not being compatible with the custom hegemonies. Does this happen if you are playing China?
Xherdos 9 Nov @ 6:58am
i think i noticed a Bug when some Ai Rulers try to become my Tributary i can only dismiss them instead of accepting it.

"Ackowledge Hegemon" can only deny it.
Xherdos 9 Nov @ 2:14am
Well for me it works totally Fine, maybe it's a Mod conflict?
Filo 9 Nov @ 12:06am
Still doesn't work
Guildar_  [author] 8 Nov @ 4:10pm
@delan211 Thank you for the suggestion. When I make another mod, I'll add that as one of the custom hegemonies. As for this mod, I will add that localization for a hegemon since you included it.
delan211 8 Nov @ 2:31pm
In Poland we had something like a "Hegemony" during the period called the "District Disintegration" (Ruthenia had something like that too). Poland was ruled by many princes, each with its own province-princedom, but formally they all answered to the Duke of Krakow, the so-called Superior Prince. In terms of West Slavic culture, the Hegemon can be called a Zwierzchnik (Superior), a Zwierzcniczka (female), and the name of the Hegemony is the Rzeczpospolita (Commonwelth).
Guildar_  [author] 8 Nov @ 12:53pm
@Myphicbowser @nraxer No problem. I am glad that you both are enjoying the mod.
Guildar_  [author] 8 Nov @ 12:52pm
@Milsugione Make sure the game rule for custom empires/kingdoms is on. If it is and you are playing an empire and it still does not show up, then I suggest validating your game files to make sure everything is working.
Guildar_  [author] 8 Nov @ 12:51pm
@Sourenics The way to disallow that is to turn off the game rule for custom kingdoms/empires but obviously that would disable your decision too. If enough people want it, I can make a version of this mod where the A.I. does not do the decision.
Xherdos 8 Nov @ 11:32am
@Milsugione Dumb question from me but is your Character a Emperor?
Milsugione 8 Nov @ 2:07am
the decision doesnt show up for me, strange
Sourenics 8 Nov @ 2:03am
Is there a game rule to disallow AI forming custom hegemonies?
my gyatt is ruined 7 Nov @ 10:26pm
THANK YOU!
Myphicbowser 7 Nov @ 9:03pm
Byzantine Empire turned themselves green on the map, 10/10 DLC
Guildar_  [author] 7 Nov @ 7:50am
@Falubo If it works without the dlc then that's cool. I added it as a requirement since I was pretty sure that hegemonies were from the All Under Heaven dlc but if it works without then that's great. Thank you for letting me know.
Falubo2008 7 Nov @ 7:16am
I tested it and it doesnt
Falubo2008 7 Nov @ 7:08am
is the dlc really neccesery
Guildar_  [author] 6 Nov @ 1:01pm
@Verinozo Thank you for the praise. I also hope Paradox adds this as a feature. Until then, enjoy the mod!
Verinozo 6 Nov @ 7:56am
What an awesome "little" mod. It is a shame that creating a custom hegemony title is not present in the DLC content. Hopefully in the future the devs see this as a very requested feature and make it so.
Guildar_  [author] 5 Nov @ 1:20pm
@Geneva I'm going to paste what I said to @Xerdos when asked what the differences are:

The main difference between the mod I linked and this one is that I changed some of the requirements, allowed the A.I. to form hegemonies on their own (granted the A.I. is stupid sometimes and decides not to), and I made it so that Japan can form a hegemony.
Geneva 5 Nov @ 4:18am
What’s the difference between this one and the original
Filo 4 Nov @ 2:21pm
I had it in since the beginning, I'll try validating game files later
Guildar_  [author] 4 Nov @ 1:35pm
@Filo Maybe try validating your game files? That tends to fix any broken files you might have. Also, if you are trying to play a save that you already had, this mod might not work. If that does not work then I don't know what the issue could be.
Filo 4 Nov @ 3:56am
Yes. Empire of Japan
Guildar_  [author] 4 Nov @ 2:31am
@Filo @DLA Did you make sure you selected an empire? The decision won't appear if you are not an empire..
Filo 4 Nov @ 1:36am
Doesn't seem to work
Guildar_  [author] 3 Nov @ 8:09pm
@DLA Huh, that's strange. I get why it might not work in already existing saves but it doesn't work for you at all?
Is there any way you can explain the type of localization issues you are having? Maybe then I can see what the problem might be.
DLA 3 Nov @ 11:30am
I don't know why, but this solution doesn't appear in the menu for me, in principle, not in a new game, not in saves, and the mod also breaks my localization)
Wolfskralle 2 Nov @ 11:21pm
@Guildar_ thank you for looking into it. I hope you can figure out a way
Guildar_  [author] 2 Nov @ 11:03pm
@Wolfskraile I am not sure if it is possible to add the dynastic cycle to custom hegemonies since it is kind of hard-coded from what I could tell. However, I DO enjoy the idea of adding that to custom hegemonies since it would make them more unique.

I will try my best to add something similar when I have the time.
Guildar_  [author] 2 Nov @ 11:02pm
@Akatosharine Thank you so much for the support. I'm glad you support the idea of having this mod up. I agree, Paradox really should add this to the game since it would be a cool feature like the custom empires and kingdoms already in the game.
Guildar_  [author] 2 Nov @ 11:01pm
@Xerdos The main difference between the mod I linked and this one is that I changed some of the requirements, allowed the A.I. to form hegemonies on their own (granted the A.I. is stupid sometimes and decides not to), and I made it so that Japan can form a hegemony.

As for your idea of an event, I kind of like that idea and I think I'll work on adding that.
