@Tchey Compatibility patch would be needed. It really isn't difficult thing to do, but would require bit of a hassle testing around.

For your personal use, I'd recommend creating Fork of Iron Hand mod (copy entire mod folder and rename it to recognize it easier) on your local mod folder (Documents\Proxy Studios\Gladius\Mods) and directly edit unit file's scale="# # #" tags (in Mods\Mod name\Data\World\Units\Faction name) to match this mod's setting.

For better comp patch, you need to have only <unit> <model></model> </unit> section of unit file for maximum compatibility, and rename the file to unitname.xml.ext to load it instead.

@KERA_AK Can you describe the issue bit more? Are you saying that mod works, but scale seems to be overly adjusted than before? If you are using other scaling mod along with this one, it could be the cause of it. Just to be sure, I'd recommend disabling all mods to see if vanilla game works fine, and than add only one of the mod to see if they are working as intended.

Hi all & the mod creator.

I haven't played Gladius for a while & I noticed that the unit sizes aren't working as before, feels as if they are much smaller & even the Elders Portals are just a half model?

Does anyone else have the same issues?

Hope some one could answer & or if the mod Creator would show up here at some point. I hope he´s doing alright! :)

@wzqa Strange indeed. Since more than two people reported the same issue, I'll try to look into it. Still, I'm not sure what could be the issue. There hasn't been any modding file structure related changes as far as I know (not to mention that it would cause more mods to not work at all), and this mod is as basic as it can get. Just to be sure, does Gladius+ and other scale changing mods work fine for you?

@wzqa Mod works just fine. Are you using any other mod with this? Are other mods works just fine? This mod doesn't make massive changes like Gladius+, so it would less noticeable if you are switching over.

@Dango Almost all units were adjusted somewhat, most notably infantries and super-heavies. Some units are used as baseline, things such as leman-russ battle tanks, which are identical to original game. While scaling changes are not as drastic as Gladius+, it would be hard to miss compared to the original.

@Dango Mod is structured same as with others, so if those mods worked fine, this should also. I'm not sure what could be the issue, though. Does the mod not work entirely, as in no changes in scale whatsoever with all units and factions?

@Harbinger I already tried to reinstall and everything, other mods like city+ or gladius+ do work for me but nothing happens with this one.
I did it because I didn't have any mod installed because I wanted to check if the mod did anything

@Dango Other than activating the mod with in-game menu (Extra - Mods - click checkbox), no further interaction is required. Everything works on my end, so try to unsubscribe and re-subscribe. Also, see if any other mod works properly, just in case.

@Obitury Most likely you are using other mod adjusting scale. Use only one of them for consistency, but if you prefer try to adjust mod order (you can drag and drop in the mod menu) differently to see if it works.

@the J Since I didn't edit any city related portion of the game, it will most likely. If you had older version of this mod, try unsubscribe and resubscribe, and then try adjusting mod loader a bit if it doesn't.

When you say "loaded after", do you mean higher or lower in the ingame mod order?
I've heard people say if a mod is higher, it takes priority.
But ive also heard people say, put the mod lower so it loads after.

@Mathusalem Whichever mod loaded after will overwrite another. Since Gladius+ handles more stuff (buildings and terrain features etc), unless you don't like Gladius+'s unit scale, there isn't really a reason for use this one as well.

@UnspokenRizz Far as I know, number of models in squad inevitably affects the performance of said squad. Each individual models have their own health, defence, weapon and skill, which are added up to determine the combat effectiveness of that squad.

@BulkySplash169 I too think the scaling in mine is a little over-the-top.Eventually I'd like to go through and redo all the units so theyre more 'in-sync' between the factions, but that'll have to wait till I have time. I'm excited to see how Harbinger's Immersive Unit Scale handles it all! Maybe we colab?

...the only downside is that it seems this mod will then also revert cities to their normal size. However, I liked the slightly bigger versions of Gladius+. Any chance to slightly enlarge cities?

Nice mod, I much prefer this less over-to-top unit scaling than Gladius/Loren's Revived Gladius+. For making these mods work together, you have to put Immersive Unit Scale above Loren's Revived Gladius+. It seems counter-intuitive, but I did some testing and the other way around, Immersive Unit Scale will have no effect!

Thanks for this Mod. It's excellent. There is another similar mod called 'True Unit Scale' and I was wondering if you know what the difference is between this mod and that? I'm testing myself, but Gladius takes such a long time to start up, it's hard to tell. I feel there isn't a need for both, so I could potentially remove one of the mods if they're doing similar things.
