"For a mummy, Mr Bawns was never considered seriously. Honestly, who would think a mummy that is just a sack of bones with strips of paper on it is scary? ...Well yes, a lot of people. But that's not my point.

Truth is, when Djet-Rekt was still a Pharaoh, he was so greedy that he did not want his skeleton to be embalmed with too much bandages. When he became Mr Bawns, it's needless to say that he had to change his mind. But it was too late. Mr Bawns was considered an imperfect mummy. It was not such an issue in the realm of the undead. Eventually, Mr Bawns opened himself to the world and left the Undeads. Freely roaming, Mr Bawns was soon exposed to something he never encountered before: Sense of humour on his behalf. His name "Mr Bawns", did not give him clear justice, as people often refered it as "bounce" rather than "bones."
Back in the day, when Djet-Rekt had to choose a mummy's name for his future career (as a mummy), he noticed that "Djet-Rekt" was already taken. Since his former language was not accepted as an username, he had to find an english name.
Bones was taken. Boney was taken. Mega-mummy was taken. Get_Rekt was taken. Mr Bones was taken. Mr Mega-Bones was taken. Acid-Rains-On-Your-Bones was taken. He then decided to try a phonological approach: Mr Bawnz.

It was taken. Djet-Rekt did not know what to do, as all the names he tried to have were taken. At random, He tried Mr Bawns. Not taken. But Bones last letter is not supposed to be a voiceless phone. Djet-Rekt knew that. But it was the only name he had in option. "Wouldn't people think it resembles more like bounce rather than bones?" He asked the name-giver. "Don't worry", he answered. "It's not like your name will even matter. I'm sure no one will hear the difference."

But they do. They do.

One day, Mr Bawns had enough. "Oh so you want me to bounce? Bounce this!" As he screamed, he threw grenades. They bounced. Oh boy did they bounce. The same way people bounced against walls as Mr Bawns was in his frenzy. He became the terror of the undead. Mr Bawns was known to make his grenade bounce across rooms until it killed enough people to be counted as an ace (it's not that much).

They used to laugh at him. Now they just spill blood on him. Dead or Alive, people will always be rude."

Mr Bawns is also available in holographic version. Aside his passion of being a thug, Mr Bawns also likes to party on week ends. When he does, he trades his bandages for rainbow-colored toilet paper. It's always fun partying with Mr Bawns.
