Description
Short Description:

- This is a fork of Ethics and Civics Alternative - Redux by LordofLA, which is a fork of the original Ethics and Civics Alternative mod by Petruxa. Credit to both of them for the vast majority of the base code.

- In addition, I've merged 2 other mods into this one. My other mod More Authorities, and Relytor's Empire Governance - Redux by LordofLA, which is a fork of the original Relytor's Empire Governance mod by relytor.




New Authorities:

Democratic Autocracy:

- This system of government democratically elects a dictator for life. When your ruler dies, a new one will be elected the same as in democracies, with faction support mattering and whatnot.

Term Limited:

- This government form elects a ruler for a single 15-year term. After their term, leaders will go back to whatever job they had before (scientist, official, commander). However, their portrait may be changed. This is still an issue in 3.6, and may yet be resolved in the future.

Private Corporate:

- This government is a megacorp that has a monarchy. It's a megacorp, but with Rulers for life and Heirs, just like Imperial authority.

@MrFunEGUY I understand that there is a hit to crew for pacifism and other traits, which is why I pointed out a non-pacifist pop in a soldier job. I've been looking in the mod files for the issue, but I'm not very good with that sort of thing. Do you have an idea of where the issue could be?

Do you have any recommend load order while using this mod and Guilli's Planets Modifiers, More Events and V_Traits (or any mod that add race and leader traits)?

@Mr. Dorudon - Crew is negative for criminals and sometimes for pacifists, but shouldnt really be for anything else.

I am pretty sure it's from this mod, but whenever I have the authoritarian faction appear, they get a -10% for "Free Press Enacted" even though it is not (and I am not even able to enact it given my ethics).

The pop I hovered over was a xenophile under the social welfare living standard. Quoting the window when hovering over production directly:

Production
Worker Living Standards: (volatile motes) 0.01 (crew) -1.75
Base: (motes) 0.01 (crew) -1.03
Wartime Draft: +50%
Starbases: +20%

the rest are the expected planet modifiers. None of my pops are slaves, chemical blissed, biotrophies, or whatever. Some are pacifist, but not many. My empire "produces" negative crew in the thousands, making ship construction impossible.

What's the situation? Hover over the pop info and tell me why its giving negative. There are some situations where that happens.

Pops are producing negative crew. As in, I hover over a soldier pop and see that it is producing -1.7 crew. This has lead to a spiral where the more soldier pops I have, the less crew I produce, eventually leading to my empire "producing" having a crew deficit.

Do dimensional fleets take up crew? I noticed that my crew deficit went down when the fleet went away.
