Desperate Hunger

Desperate Hunger gives animals who wouldn't normally hunt and consume corpses the ability to do so when they are desperately hungry. When their food need is at zero, they may attack other animals who are wounded. When their malnutrition reaches 20% (configurable) they may attack and attempt to eat healthy creatures nearby!

Feature enabled - Enables the main feature. Disable to temporarily bypass without having to remove/re-add this mod.

Desperate predators ignore size - If enabled, desperate predators may hunt animals of any size. (Normally predators are restricted on a per-species basis in the vanilla xmls)
Desperate prey ignore size - If enabled, desperate normally non-predatory animals may hunt animals of any size. If disabled, they will only hunt animals their own size or smaller.
Desperate animals ignore combat power - If enabled, desperate animals of all kinds may hunt animals regardless of the targets combat power.
Desperate herd animals eat own kind - If enabled, desperate herd animals may hunt animals of their own kind.
Desperate animals attack allies - If enabled, desperate pawns may attack others from the same faction.
Desperate humans - If enabled, non-wild humans will automatically attack other creatures when desperate. <- Turn this one on... you know you want to!

Prey target max relative size - The maximum relative size a desperate non-predatory animal can target (unless "desperate prey ignore size" is enabled).
Minimum malnutrition required to hunt wounded target - A desperate creature with malnutrition above this level will hunt wounded targets that they wouldn't normally hunt. Will have no effect if equal to or higher than the minimum malnutrition required to hunt a healthy target.
Minimum malnutrition required to hunt healthy target - A desperate creature with malnutrition above this level will hunt healthy targets that they wouldn't normally hunt.

Ignore fertilized eggs - If enabled, fertilized eggs will be ignored by pawns seeking food.
Desperate prey select random targets - If enabled, desperate normally non-predatory animals will pick a target at random. If disabled, they prioritize targets using the same formula as predators do in vanilla RimWorld.
