This is a Community Modpack designed to make the combat more intense and the strategy layer more leniant. It provides new challenges and more options to deal with them. I made this pre WOTC and then played WOTC and realized that I am gaining one $40 expansion for 7 or more Free Expansions that add alot more then WOTC. If you don't have WOTC or want to play Long War with the best mods available by the community then this ModPack is for you.

I have personally tested this modpack for 327 hours and widdled it down from its original size of 760+ mods to its current size. It takes awhile during loading screens but is extremley stable and very balanced. It is by far my favorite version of this game and the closest I could get to being perfect. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or find any bugs hit me up on steam. I am retired so 9 times outta 9 I am on.

Tweaks:
Squad Concealment: Please set the turns to 5, certain classes can restealth after 4 turns with perks. This is the most balanced way to play.

Classes: Enable all classes by going to there ini and normally its as simple as removing or adding an " ; " The Mage for example is very well balanced and should be enabled. It simulates finding someone with natural psyonic abilites. If you are unsure what to do please do not touch the inis and refer to the individual class mods for documentation on how to tweak ini files. Some people prefer to get the entire LW Shadow Ops pack which is fine. It comes with 2 more classes brining the total up to 52, enough for a deck of cards, but I chose not to include it simply because it does require you to mess with the inis if you want to play with the original classes as that mod disables them. In its current form, you do not have to touch inis at all except for the true concealment and I thought that it would be easier for people to download and play this without having to go in and mess with files unless absolutley nessecary. But you will be missing the mage, juggernaut, and something else... can't actually think of it now.

-A special note on some of the classes people think are OP. If you are using certain Psy classes without a Psyops chamber built then your soldiers may panic when using abilities of a psyonic nature. This can be very bad early game, but adds risk vs reward. Do you attempt to mind control someone to gain a powerful ally during a fire fight with an untrained Psyker? or do you use him as a regular soldier until the psyops lab is built and simply focus on leveling him until then.

Turn Timers: The default is +4 turns on all difficulties. I would increase it by 4 turns for each difficulty higher then Veteran you are playing so you have time to deal with the increased health and all the new enimies.

This ModPack has been:
-Tested and played on Veteran about 247 hours and is still really hard even with all the things that make it easier.
-Tested and played on Legend about 80 hours and is still easier and winable with all the new options available.
