THIS GAME DESERVES A CHANCE! Hear me out, I know it had a rough launch week. What game doesn't have some kind of issues on launch week? Does that mean you should just cast it aside? Absolutely not, I'm here to tell you its worth it. First off the art style is so amazing. I love the cyber punk/Neo look it really helps sells the game, its just amazing. Then there is the lore behind the game as you progress. There is so much to go over and its something you will want to do to better understand the story. The puzzle solving aspect is nicely done as well, as if you properly explore you will find all the answers you need to each puzzle. Now there are some "side objectives" to the main story that will make completing it easier. Since well, this is a ghost story right? What would it be without some ghost trying to stop you. Quick note, some of the achievements are nods to classic horror movies which I loved! Now there is combat in this game, I won't go into detail as it would be a spoiler. When you finally do get the ability to do combat, be patient with it. Overall this game is trying to tell a story and the combat is but a small portion of the game. Just time your attacks and everything will go smoothly. Overall this game is a hidden gem that is worth the try. Keep this on your radar cause its worth a play through, if not more!

Alright, I'm still playing through the game but I think I've played enough to get past the halfway point and write this.

First off if you love pixel art, indie games and horror well than you hit the HOLY TRINITY. This games has all that and is clearly influenced by Resident Evil and Silent Hill games and that is awesome! For example you need ink to save your progress and you can play with one of two game modes. Infinite ink or limited ink meaning you can only save when you find some (a la Resident Evil ribbons.

Another selling point is the story and mystery behind what is happening at Grav Hill. You head there after in an attempt to save your wife from dying from an illness. However, once you arrive nothing is as it seems. Exploring and finding all the lore to figure out the truth is worth it!

Having taken influence from Resident Evil and Silent Hill there are puzzle a plenty. The good thing about these puzzle is that you will find the answer if you just explore. Some you will need to even write down or take notes cause.

Combat is easy and something you won't struggle with.

Overall this game was worth the wait and 100% worth playing!
