Inscryption is a captivating experience that skilfully fuses card game, rogue-like and psychological horror to create an unforgettable adventure. Its deck-building mechanics and escape-room puzzles add intriguing depth, while its dark secrets keep players on their toes. An odyssey not to be missed by fans of immersive narrative games.

Really fun game if you like puzzles/good story/deck-building/roguelike elements/games with plenty of hidden secrets/ etc, etc. Plus, there's also 'Kaycee's Mod' which is a very fun, fairly tricky, challenge mode for people who want something spicy after experiencing the main game.

I've poured 75 hours into this as of writing, and my only real gripe is that you'll never get to spend too long with a deck. Can build some very fun ones given time (and no small amount of luck), but before you can really get into any rhythm with it you've either lost or won and that's that.

Still, absolutely give this a try if you've ever felt even the slightest bit interested. It doesn't disappoint.

I know I'm like super late to the hype for this game.
I should have picked it up a long time ago after playing through Pony Island and falling in love with it but I was always like "eh, i'm not really into card games :/". But I am so glad I gave it a try because it was so worth it.

Originally picked up in 2023 and played a bit but dropped it because I got distracted with other game releases at the time but picked it up again in a year later and hyperfixated on it for like 20 days and it was a blast.
