amazing for those who love story rich games - and some challenges - or you could turn on the show multiplayer progress and use roads / vehicles already constructed by others to help you along - either way - steam award for best soundtrack ive spent hours just listening to the music in this game

By far one of the best rpg/strategy single or co-op play tabletop type turn based dice roll (card play) game that i have played in a long long time.

My son and I are playing normal difficulty - and although we have figured out the first 2 dungeons - and can farm the first a bit for experience / gold - its still a game that doesn't leave much room for error - the more you play/experiment with card combos ect the better your experience will be.

I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the old school initiative based action management dungeon crawler type games

its a fun little casual space rts - you have choices to make which impact future decision to some degree regarding completion of tasks - i played most of the way through - the actual graphics of what you see are determined on the outcome of the clicks you make or choices - and those sucesses or failures

all in all its a fun space sim and challenging

not quite sure how i missed this game on release - but i wish all game designers aspired to reach the bar that this game had set - so many years ago. It makes me proud to be a pc gamer

Early Access Review
When i review i try to make sure i have enough hours in the game to form a realistic opinion of how the game is developed to this point and where it is headed. With that said - I must say when i hit the roadblock that is early access - the game left me in somewhat of a shocked scenario.

Rarely have i played an early access game that has had so much of my attention to the story line - and although there are unfinished "side quests" or other quest-lines - I can't wait for the developers to continue on this project.

The dialog in the game is witty and well thought out to this point - and with the multiple directions that can be chosen in story line it feels so near a finished stated i was not ready to reach the end of the current development (which did NOT prevent me to continue - as there is still much to explore)

I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys exploration / space / and choice matters genres of gameplay. The combat both ship to ship and group fighting is well thought out and quite involving. I LOVE the dicerolls as they add an element of !!??$?%!^ when the roll goes really good or really bad!

This is one of the few games - that if offered on sale as a gift to others - i would definitely buy it for a friend!

Looking forward to what comes ahead! Keep up the great work!

Ok - Going to start with - Are you kidding me? So many years of development and whoever ran your Quality Assurance program should be fired. Where was the testing for the simple stuff?

Pro - Its Mount and Blade Con - apparently developed by the JR staff
Pro - It is super deep Con - none
Pro - I love the story line Con - none - you dont have to do it if you dont want to
Pro - So many new factions Con - so many new factions
Pro - New units Con - WTF who sets the stats on these?
Pro - Love the new Tourny system Con - none that i can see
Pro - TONs of economy Con - may take you forever to master it
Pro - Its playable - enjoyable - and hopefully they will smooth out some of the rough edges

Overall - i would say the new Mount and Blade players - maybe turned off by the complexity of the game but for us old hats - I am having a blast - and i hope you will to!

OK - going to start out with some commentary followed by an step by step evaluation of the game itself

If you like sim management games - this should be right up your ally - with some RP storyline involved of course. To date - this review is only based on the campaign mode of the game and not the sandbox.

With that said - I really enjoyed the campaign - although there were small pathing issues and some minor bugs - the dev teams actively communicate and actually partake in conversations to help make their game better. +++ The game is enjoyable to me as a casual game - and I look forward to expanding out into the sandbox and can't wait to see what the devs come up with.

Playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance to me was a refreshing blast from the past. I have spent over 160 hours in the game - and to this point i have yet to finish it. So here we go with the review:

If you are a hack and slash rush to the end of a game just to get through it you probably wont enjoy this game nearly as much as I have. I am an old gamer and I rememeber the initial release of Everquest and the exploring that 10's of thousands of people did back then and the excitement of entering a new world and exploring and figuring things out with no help what so ever. This game took me back to those times because i CHOSE to play it that way. I didn't look up answers on the internet or check a quick walk through - (although i did occasionally chat with some friends on steam about my current progress and theirs).

I found the game to be exciting and deep. As deep as a game that I have played in a long time. There are many side quests that branch out into story lines that just want me to look for more. There is so much to explore and find and conquer.

I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys saying "HEY! what did hear?? - What did i just SEE? - Did he just say that?? wait a minute? Don't i know that guy??!!"

Anyone who takes the time to truely develop skills and work hard on developing a character and a style of play. It all takes TIME and time is something that you can afford and enjoy rather than just grinding up on the same old mobs spawning again and again.

There are DEFINITE consequences for actions in this game. THINK about what your going to do before you do it - or slug a save potion if you are not sure.

When i type up a review - i try not to tell people how to play a game - but i will tell you this. I have compared my experience to others that have gotten the game - weeks after i have - and have aready finished it in 60-70 hours and they all complain about not being able to do this or to do that. i would wager that those people only experienced a small percentage of what the game had to offer them and they moved on without takign the oppurtunity to stop and look around.

Explore - Talk to NPC's - LEARN - TRAIN - all the things that would go into truely developing a character and living in the game. You do this - and you will find those impossible fights not so impossible. And when you come across that pivotal moment that it makes a difference on how you answer something - or wether you let this person live or die - you can make better decisions which DEFINITLY have an affect on later game play.

Thumbs up - back to the game! I really can't wait to see how the story ends! ... or continues......

Several months later - stil lenjoying the DLC's
