Pretty decent survival MMO-styled game. Only big wrench in the works is the constant rad problems. What a pain in the tuckus. Grab the game and dive into the wild, wooly, West Virginia wilderness.

Basically, you have to delve into the depths below the town to kill the boss and save the people. Very similar to the original Diablo, but toonier. Lots of fun and can be quite challenging.

I've been a fan of post apocalyptic stories/games since I was a kid. So when this game came along, it was a natural fit. Little did I know that I'd spend well over 900 hours kicking around the Commonwealth, killing raiders, and eating the remains of mutant dogs! Great fun, even if a little greasy at times. :D

It's a great game with tons of action, awesome multiplayer ability, and BAZILLIONS of guns! I've beaten it with each character and I'm diving back in for another round.

While not as engrossing (at least to me) as previous editions, this is a really fun play. My main problem is that I find the characters less appealing and the setting on the moon more irritating than anything else. Minor drawbacks, but there you go.

Very reminiscent of Diablo 2. Lots of equipment options, with some ability to modify items. A good choice of classes with pretty extensive skill trees, as well as the ability to choose 2 classes with the skills having the potential to feed off each other. Finding just THE combo that suits your style can take lots of play throughs.

Decent number of classes (no customization in appearance though!), Great skill tree, Lots of weapon choices with wide variety of enhancements.

Great time waster. Lots of achievements for those with achievement fetishes.

I really want to like this game. Really. But it's got serious issues with play balance. It doesn't seem to matter what "threat level" the area has, Raiders appear with great regularity. Your people die very easily. Construction takes a lot of time, with no way to prioritize what gets built first. Cosmic events (space debris and such) occur quite often.
If the devs work out the bugs, I'll annotate my review with the upgrades. Until then, I have to go thumbs down.

It's DOOM. In 3D. 'Nuff said.
