REVIEWING AS A GOLD EDITION PRE-ACCESS/PRE-ORDER PLAYER

I have to say, they brought it back. There's lots of content, lots of new guns and heists, lots of cosmetics, the daily challenges are fun, the levelling system has been fixed, everything is how it should of been on launch.

The game is fun, it's living up to the Payday name and I'm sure with Almir in charge now, we are on the path for a bright future.

Give the game another chance.



OLD REVIEW BELOW

The game is solid. There is a solid foundation for updates to come. However, the game is nowhere near what it should be. The progression is hopefully getting improved upon soon but I'm still left wondering where the offline mode is? The game was great in Pre-access but that's only because I paid $125 to play the game 3 days early. Day 1 was a disaster and should be a staple in what not to do when releasing your game.

All I know, is the GAMEPLAY is good and enjoyable. With a few updates down the line, I think this game can bounce back to what it should be and feel like.

I love Payday, been playing since PD:TH and have well over 1000 hours on PD2 across accounts, I expect I will be doing the same with this game in the near future.
