Its a solid recreation of the board game, but there are some glaring issues.

The one that stands out is I use a spell, but then I learn that the only person I can use the spell on is myself, I cannot cancel this action. I HAVE to use the spell against myself. I even reread the rules to my physical copy of the board game, and no such rule exists. It's just lazy programming.

Other than this, the game suceeds if it makes you buy the physical copy, because it is a TON of fun with friends.

EDIT: Was running a game with my friends when it "lost connection" and we lost all progress, I'm changing my review to a negative until they add a saving option for games, and update their god awful UI.

Love this game! very challenging and interesting, I really get sucked into the atmostphere of the game and enjoy building an effective colony. The micromanagment can get a little insane if not properly managed, but this is a game where you just gotta fail a few times before you REALLY get the mechanics I feel.
I'm on my 3rd new colony and I still feel like I'm learning the curve of the game.
It won't be for everyone, but I think this is a pleasant game to play while I watch movies or listen to music.

Story and writing is solid.
Setting and game world is really interesting and unique.

Combat can be great, but it is also very quirky and divisive. overall, I enjoy it, but the early missions are painful.
It also doesn't have a proper sword combat tutorial until i'm like, well into 6 hours deep in the game.

Lockpicking mini game is very frustrating, archery is impossible to aim.

I actually havent encountered too many bugs, but the few I have encountered are maddening, like my character walking away during cutscenes.

The absolute worst thing about this game is the loading screens. Loading screen for talking to anyone, loading screen for opening the map, loading screen after you sleep and after you wait. It adds up a lot.
Maybe this is just me, but it has a LOT of black loading screens on my PC.

Potentially the best rogue like I have played in years.
Gameplay and combat is fluid and fun, unlocking new charcters and learning their abilities is addicting.
I highly recommend this game to anyone interested in Deux Ex alikes in any form, this is a true simulator with an fun sense of humour and challenging but rewarding gameplay.
Get bored? try a new character, go on a stealth run or a rampage.
The systems are easy to learn but difficult to master, and the trial and error spirit of roguelike games is there.
All this, and an added co-op mode, mutators, unlockables, endless mode...

Fantastic game and I 100% recommend it.

Literally only issue is ping problems and maybe some optimization issues, but It's a very minor gripe. The game works fine for me on a 970 and the server problems are understandable for such a new game.

Great multiplayer, fun alone and with friends. First "battle royale" game I've played but I have no reason to look into any other title really.

I'm excited to see what new content we recieve and look forward to supporting this game.

Not a game worth a purchase, especially at it's price, in it's current state.
Save your money and wait for a more solid release when more features have been added and gameplay mechanics have greater structure. There is an OUTLINE of a good game here, but it's lost in the inevitable comparison of similar games that have a more reasonable price, run better, and have a great deal more to offer in the way of gameplay.
The Combat is painful and awkward. progression is slow and painful. This game is painful, not in a fun way either.
I'll pay attention to this one with anticipation, but I'm not waiting with bated breath to open my wallet again.

Play with a friend and enjoy it as theh most pure co-op RPG game you'll ever play.

Great combat and interesting story.

The gear and progression is slow and feels very very weighty, and each victory is a real victory.

However, this game is TOUGH. VERY Tough.

Me and my buddy piled through this game as best we could and a really rought time.

We still loved it though, which is a real testament to how good this game is.

Please get this game.

Open world gameplay in its finest form.

Approach objectives how you want, becomes a new game everytime.
This is a game that encourages you to replay and enjoy the game again in a different way.

More next generational games should follow the example put forward by Metal Gear Solid V.

Story is confusing as all hell and barely worth paying attention too, which is a shame.

Please play this game.

Man, Overwatch times were !

Less of an RPG and more an Action FPS with RPG elements.
Fallout 4 is in many ways an upgrade on Fallout 3, and in many ways a downgrade from it.
Fallout 3 has the character and the interesting little side missions that keep it going from just being a dreary experience and turn it into a personal story that makes you really remember different places and characters.
Fallout 4 lures you from combat encounter to combat encounter, lets you deal with it how you will, repeat.
This isn't bad! This is a fun game and I enjoy it a lot! But it is for sure a big jump from what Fallout 3 was.
I recommend this game for what it is, a proper sequel to Fallout 3 it is not, instead a fun RPG action shooter.
Enjoy it, and enjoy building a base for a great deal of time.
