God be praised! What an absolute gem this Kingdom Come: Deliverance is!

I first laid hands upon this marvel back in the year of our Lord 2018, at its initial release, and though it stumbled forth from the gates with all the grace of a drunken stable boy—bugs and hiccups aplenty—I dare say it captured my noble heart like no other tale before. The journey I undertook as Henry, that peasant turned somewhat less hopeless, was nothing short of splendid.

Venturing through this charming fragment of 1403 Bohemia, embroiled in the intricate dance of courtly intrigue, personal bonds, and, of course, the thunderous drums of war, proved to be utterly enthralling. I shall spare thee the tedium of detailing mechanics or waxing poetic on the finer points of its storytelling, for many have already spilled ink aplenty on such matters.

Yet, I shall be bold enough to proclaim that, should your tastes align with Warhorse's grand vision of a medieval epic, filled with heart, wit, and a dash of righteous mischief, this tale shall win you over, shortcomings and all.

In eager anticipation of the forthcoming sequel—may God speed its arrival—I ventured once more into this delightful world, armed now with every morsel of DLC. To my pleasant astonishment, I found my second sojourn even more delightful than the first. Most launch-day maladies have since been banished, the DLC proved a feast worthy of a nobleman, and on my current steed of a rig, it gallops as smoothly as Pebbles never could.

May fortune favor Warhorse, and may their endeavors flourish grandly henceforth! Here's to many more tales to come!

Abiotic Factor is a surprisingly delightful addition to the modern video game landscape.

I went in expecting a run-of-the-mill survival crafting experience with maybe some novelty in its setting.
What I got was so much better!

A blend of Half-Life and SCP atmosphere, lore, and design.
Level design that rivals the best—like Dark Souls and Resident Evil.
Survival crafting that builds upon and improves the genre’s formula, stripping away the usual tedium.
Top it off with a dose of immersive sim gameplay, reminiscent of Prey and Dishonored, and you get something far greater than it has any right to be.

It’s rare for a game that draws so heavily from its inspirations to truly excel, but Abiotic Factor nails the best aspects of them all, resulting in a focused, engaging, and cohesive experience.

The progression and pacing remain rock solid—even 45 hours in, it doesn’t miss a beat.
You’re constantly discovering new tools, recipes, and secrets. There's always a new mystery to solve, a shortcut to unlock, a character to engage with.

And all the while, each new area one-ups the last—intensifying the oppressive feeling that the world is on the brink of collapse. You’re just caught up in it, forced to muster all your wits and courage to push forward.

A genuine masterpiece in game design, pushing its respective genres forward.

I cannot recommend it enough.
