That's exactly why it gets a sizable average player base, we all obviously hate ourselves and submit to the Destiny 2 grind. Like grinding for gear that is good instead of being given it instantly upon logging into the game? Cringe. We want Destiny 2 but there is no grinding. You instantly get every god roll and exotic you want, so that you only have to run through every single activity including raids only once. Like bro trust me, this game is so bad especially all the stories, like who is even interested in any lore? Nerds.

I have always played Destiny 2 for the grinding where once you get what you have been aiming for just makes you feel real good. I have been playing since around forsaken when you could get the game for free on Battle.net around Christmas of one year, and only a few things have made me contemplate giving a negative review.

Sunsetting

I completely understand it as it helps with balance, I can understand the planets and activities, but I would of loved to have seen all the raids stayed since now they have the Legends tab in the Directory where Vault of Glass and Prophecy sit, I feel like they could fill that up with old raids and other pve endgame activities that people really enjoyed.

Trials of Osiris

Most people will agree that Trials feels so horrible to play and grind to try to get flawless that week unless your a good pvp player. To the counter arguments of "you suck get good" Yes I can devote my life to Destiny 2 pvp to obtain the got good status but I don't have the time nor the mental ability to sit and play pvp all day to get better at it. I'm an average pvp player and I have gone flawless once with a 3 stack of friends, it was really difficult since a lot of the players we were fighting were absolutely cracked who were doing carries, but now I am normally a solo queue in Trials since my friends hate it can't blame them and I just want some rolls on Trials weapons to try out and have fun with but Trials just isn't fun most of the time to many players. But hey that is just my opinion on Trials so take it with a grain of salt.

Positives

I love all of the stories even if some we not as enticing as the other ones cough Curse of Osiris cough Warmind cough nevertheless they were still good and part of the Destiny universe. I enjoy the variety of activities like Strikes, Crucible, Gambit, Nightfalls Strikes with a twist, Raids, Seasonal Activities, Story Mission, DLC Activities like Wellspring, Blinding Well, Open World, etc. Overall it is very fun but will require a bit of time and dedication for the end game grind.
