Best Loot and Shoot best on Mute.
Peak Borderlands game/gunplay, cool classes and even crazier loot. It has the weakest story out of the 4 main games but all Borderlands campaigns have a fun replay loop beating them on higher difficulties, different classes and mayhem modes which makes for a chill or challenging go to game to drop in with a friend for those classic Borderlands co-op vibes with better gameplay. Also after you beat 1 story mode playthrough, just turn on game subtitles and listen to YouTube while you loot and shoot, the true definitive Borderlands 3 play style. Voice acting isn't bad but writing is cringe but it's funny to at it instead of with it. It's pretty funny to hate on Ava's big head ass too.

Borderlands 2 is still my favorite out of the series being the complete package story wise but Borderlands 3 is still worth playing if you haven't yet and were a fan of the previous games. Pretty cheap on sale and still active online, an easy go to for the loot and shoot listen to YouTube game, a compliment in the best way possible.

For me this is the best game in the series. The gameplay is a massive improvement over all previous entries in the series. The gunplay is amazing and the different abilities makes the movement extremely fluid. The variety of guns as well is astounding. While the story is not great and characters are annoying, this applies to all previous titles in the series except Tales from the Borderlands so it didn't bother me all that much as I don't play this series for the story/writing. 8/10
