I play this with my 7 year old daughter and she loves it.

First the game is great as it doesn't really hold your hand, but its on you to figure things out for the most part. In addition to problem solving - the game helps show her what automation is, and how much time it can free up for fun things like exploring. I would definitely recommend to anyone playing with kids as it has been a surprise on how much thinking and bonding we have been able to do together playing Slime Rancher.
