thank god i'm not a city planner

basically left 4 dead meets diablo 3. has a good selection of classes for each character (who are all very well written and voiced), and plenty of weapon and build variety between them. i've had a lot of fun playing this with my friends, very much looking forward to darktide.

a very good and very spooky survival horror game

a great example of why dark souls is so legendary, with possibly the best boss fights of the series. along with the two amazing DLCs, dark souls 3 is an incredible conclusion to the dark souls trilogy, while also a great entry point for newcomers to souls.

As most have already said, the tank sections don't belong in a Batman game by any stretch of the imagination. That being said, the gameplay in Arkham Knight is far beyond what was achieved in any other entry in the series. The story while definitely having it's holes and contrivances is still a good conclusion to the trilogy and an even better exploration of Batman himself.

great level design with extreme emphasis on player freedom and expression. i once pulled a battleaxe out of my suitcase and embedded it in a man dressed as a flamingo while also dressed as a flamingo, in front of like 500 npcs, and was promptly shot to death by security.

the darkest and most engaging story rockstar has ever told in the series, set in a city that after all these years is still one of the most real feeling open worlds is video game history (shame rockstar changed the radio songs, but easily modded back)

gta v good game

this story deeply affected me in high school. despite only having one well executed ending of two, is still my favourite narrative choices game i've ever played.
