love the use of traps in this game. in most games i have an obsession of hoarding items and never get to play different styles. here, you have an abundant resource plus convenient controls to maximize creative combat. when things start feeling comfy, authentic difficulty brings it to a whole new level without turning enemies into bullet sponges.

if it werent for the lag, it would make such a great game.
appreciate the level of freedom you're granted in reshaping the world.

as of 1.0 this game has really turned over.

slightly improved graphics doesnt mean ♥♥♥♥.

in a new game in forest biome i get overrun by hoards of zombie bears and dire wolves twice in a row--just breaking through walls to get to me in a tier 1 quest area.

i get world generations in which forest biome is directly next to / surrounded by wastelands.

my fav sniper build gets a scope delay which makes it impossible to use for most applications while all the guns are practically airsoft early on.

the screamer triggers hoard spawn containing more screamers causing an infinite loop of swarm.

and in the middle of all this madness, the game price nearly doubled for this ♥♥♥♥♥ update.

i was going to run older versions with friends but for this price im not recommending the game to anyone. ill just forget it existed and move on to other games.

id seen the reviews and been hesitant to try. the story, im not too fond of, but the gameplay is amazing so far.

im not sure how much use ill make of this plunging attack but the slide i abuse all the time with a hyperian shotgun in hand. the characteristics of weapons and the general first person shooter experience is on another level compared to borderlands 2 and that's saying a lot.

i have yet to try other classes but another thing i found about this game is how you get near immediate access to powerful skills unlike in 2 where you had a rather long grind to build up to a decent skill. from early on the skill doesnt feel halfassed.

took me 2 hours but finished in one sitting. definitely worth the money and time if you have to spare.
liked the variety of weapons, the controls, and the mobility of the character.
