easily one of the games out there

The game itself is amazing. You'd pick this up just and roam the Sanctuary. It's one of the 'cozy type' games just like Diablo 3 was. It It's casual friendly and the story itself, although linear, is well written.

The only downside is there is no option to play offline. It even has a ping in game. This is where the problem begins. If your connectivity isn't that stable, you'll experience lag spikes. I played and my ping spiked to 250 and the lag became noticeable.

The season pass isn't really a bothersome since most of it are just cosmetics and you can just ignore it.

L for requiring connectivity to network always.

Would love to play this on steam deck while travelling but because of the 'always online requirement', you cannot.

I'd recommend this but BG3 is a lot cheaper and better. Will only recommend this if not for the price
