The poetic anthology of the dexterous Knight known as Dolla Cheese starts here. His blood runs deep into the veins of chaos instilled by the darkness of this shattered world. From betraying the heathens and escaping the prison they barred him in; he went from a soon to be executed hollow into a semi-godlike slayer who's goal was to end the cycle of torment. Using the loose fabrics of time around him he was able to summon his friend, a powerful and sagacious being going by code name Big if True. Along with this warrior wielding the obsidian blades of wonder, he summoned an acquaintance's soon to be son... Havel Junior. Together the trio trekked into the depths. Discovering a massive door requiring the Lords Souls to open. The journey was long and arduous, but with the help of some lads and lasses that held onto their sanity... They prevailed. Massive beasts fell to their weapons. Dolla Cheese consumed their souls, even using some to create holy weapons capable of dispelling the ambient light into powerful bolts of lightning. Seeing this power pushed Dolla Cheese to become a paladin. First training his speed and aggression (as gentlemen do ;)), then devoting his life to the holy lords. Seeing his faith boost beyond what it once were, paltry and unimpressive to say the least. Upon slaying the numerous beasts which litter the lands. He finally arrives at the doors with his homies. Having been trained for this moment after being slaughtered many, many times. They open the massive doors in a once lively kiln, seeing the treasonous b4$tard known as Gwyn. Dolla Cheese's heart pounds with vitality and something else... fear. He rushed forward to clash blades with the tyrannous god. Using this time parrying and distracting the man so his friend Big if True and Havel Junior could get the upper hand. Before the poor king knew what was going on blades pierced through his back and sides. They all jump away as he unleashes hell's fury in artisan brushes from his fiery blade. They spot the weakness in him, he is hurt. Pleading through his weakened demeanor and eyes that his treason has taken a toll. The lads combine blade and slash his head clean off, another pierces his heart and the last; a heavy slash down cuts him in half. The loops of time falter in this moment. Dolla Cheese absorbs the Lords Soul and his friends are taken by the folds into a new loop of time. Their disappearance weighs heavy; but he knows he has a choice to make. Ignite the flames of the gods or abandon them. He thinks back on his adventures. Humanity wasn't given a choice, and their ways may be dastardly but... the beauty in their existence was imperfection. He thinks about all the friends he had lost along the way. How many had been betrayed, how many invasive spirits came to slaughter them?! Including his interest in the bosomed Gwynevere, despite her death being necessary for humanities next steps forward. His fingers stream through the souls sand of this final bonfire. Crumpling the marrow within, letting it sift through his finger tips. His vision blurs as a tear drop falls to his hand below. With this satisfactory moment, he stands back up and heads for the cauldrons entrance. Not looking back, a single time... On his exit from one world and entrance to the next begins, a legions of Frampts greet him as their new savior. The new Lord has been declared, and perhaps this time... things would be different

Dolla Cheese goes on to have a daughter and a son. From their father's wake as Lord of Humanity and the God Slayer, they know they have much to live up to. However, in a freak accident the daughter is whisked away into some sort of shattered reality. His son knows what must be done...

This journey will continue!

This game is a nice departure into mysterious phenomena, although it appears similar to SCP I can say that after playing it this feels more like like something out of the Twilight Zone. With some of the funny and strange artifacts you encounter. Beautiful game with fun combat. This is my first Castlevania-styled game and I liked it a lot!

• Beautiful visuals if your computer can handle them!
  
• Abilities not only look cool, but are really fun to use. You get an arsenal of around 6 things and you will eventually use them all in the campaign
  
• No difficulty slider, this helped the game feel more solid in pace
  
• Modding is always welcomed, some of the mods are better than others but these can completely change your play style. At first I went for energy goblin but by the end I started using recharging shields and evasion ammo restore
  
• Tons of lore to get into, although the story was alright in my opinion; it is very clear that they went the extra miles to make this universe believable

• The map is confusing and so are objectives. As I stated earlier this is my first time with a game that has you repeatedly visiting the old parts of a map. However in this case the game would give me pretty vague instructions and I found myself spending too much time trying to find objectives at awkward moments. Like looking for an elevator for example! Running around in circles for 5 mins is just silly
  
• The outfits are okay, but I feel like they could have been much better. Of the whole roster only 3 stand out to me
  
• There needs to be more replay value. Since this game is set up as a Metroidvania they can kind of make this game endless. The board countermeasures are okay but are boring and stupid once you have everything. The alerts are better, but fall flat in the fact that they are rare and random.
  
• One achievement was bugged, but thankfully the community helped me solve the issue

I really did enjoy Control, somehow from the very start of the game I could tell that this was a game I would get 100% of the trophies in. Throughout the whole experience I was having a good time and found myself wishing there was even more once I had finished it all. That's a good sign in my opinion!

I'm not the kind of person that needs constant action and exposition mouth-fed to me. I like that this game lets you just get immersed in the "going ons" and really discover how the world works at your own pace. For some people this game will be drastically shorter than it was for me, but for what it was I liked Control and I honestly had no clue Alan Wake was in this universe lol! I heard something of the new game coming out so I guess this means I'm gonna be hype for Alan Wake??
