Called that this major update was going to go badly and end up damaging the game's reputation forever, and despite this being the best map yet (best visuals, compounds, overall design) and some other changes that I think were pretty solid, the terribad UI and performance issues have set this game right back to where it was before the update - only vets play and the new player experience is absolutely terrible as it has been for many years.

Meta is the same, they tried changing it to no avail (was obvious that it wasnt going to change), long ammo + dolch meta for almost 5 years now - extremely boring. The worse you are at the game the less you run into meta slavers - so if you get past the initial struggle the game is fun for quite a while.

Combat can be extremely fun at times, still enjoy this game a lot but its obvious that the negative reviews (that are deserved) killed any chance of this game growing.
