Once upon a time, we were cavemen. Banging rocks on rocks and running around jungles and bare deserts in search for food. This is what our primitive selves were destined to be. The wilderness was still wild, as were we. The Earth was once a beautiful place, ya know. Though we did not have the luxuries that we have today, nor the luxuries we have in the future, I'll take a wild guess that we were all happy.

Fast forward to the time of Ancient Greece. In that time, they may have been fighting the Romans or worshiping Zeus along with the other major Greek gods, which would be great news if we were playing Hades, but this is no Hades review. Upon this time, wretched human beings known as Philosophers were taking a stab at helping the progression of the human race's evolution. We were figuring out how to flip images using a dark room and a small hole, which is now known as Camera Obscura. This is, in fact, why babies initially see the world upside down. There were also people in that time that were creating the foundation of astronomy and taking it upon themselves to discover planets and find out the trajectory of planets, such as Earth and the sun. Then we come across them. The ones who took the time to advance math. Among these subjects are what we know as Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and of course, Geometry.

When we think about it, Geometry has been a thing for a very long time. In fact, there have been shapes in literally everything. You could think of the pyramids as, well, pyramids, but it goes much farther than that. In fact, did you know the pyramids used to be white? Crazy. Anyways, the pyramids are pyramid in shape, but they aren't smooth. They are made up of very, very heavy rectangular prisms. Thousands upon thousands of these massive bricks laid upon one another, a task of which may have taken many days and many nights to complete. Another example may be traced back to Ancient Greece with the Parthenon. Though it may be in shambles today, it was once a geometrically symmetrical and sound structure. Crafted by the most skilled of hands, this structure is not only architecturally sound, but has genius design. You can find shapes in anything, it just may be harder to see in some than others.

Now we skip far into the future. Ships are sailing across the Atlantic ocean in hopes of finding the other side of Asia, but what they discover is something completely different. Unbeknownst to Christopher Columbus, he had just set foot upon America. Though he is credited for discovering America, records show that a viking by the name of Leif Eriksson discovered America well beforehand. America had not received its name until a skilled navigator and explorer by the name of Amerigo Vespucci sailed to this land in 1499. Not only did he, at one point, discover the open mouth to the Amazon River at one point in his time, he also had sailed three separate times to America.

Electricity has been somewhat known about ever since Ancient Egyptians. They wrote about the "Thunderer of the Nile" and described such things as electric fish. This further extends to the Ancient Greek, Roman, and Arabic naturalists and physicians, of whom wrote about the numbing effect of electric shocks that were delivered by such fish, and eventually figured out that shocks could travel along conducting objects. Another thing that was known in the realm of electricity was that certain things, such as Amber rods, could be rubbed with cat's fur to create enough friction to attract feathers.

In 1752, Benjamin Franklin was flying a kite on a stormy day. This was a normal kite, but what was unique about this experiment was that it had a key attached to the bottom of it. After lightning struck the kite, an sparks could be seen shooting from the key to the back of his hand, which showed that lightning was indeed electric in nature. It wasn't until 1821, where Michael Faraday invented the first ever applicable electronic device, which can be known as the electric motor.

Though computers may have been created beforehand, it wasn't until 1984 that the first model of the modern computer was invented by Steve Jobs. It was the first personal computer to feature a mouse and a GUI. Later, in November of 1985, the original Windows 1 was created, seen as Windows's first true attempt at creating a 16-bit interface. This project was spearheaded by Bill Gates.

On September 12th 2003 (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm older than Steam), a software client known as Steam was released by Valve. It was a way to provide automatic updates for their games. In late 2005, though, they expanded distributing and offering toward third-party titles as well.

August 13, 2013. Hell raised upon earth as someone did the unspoken; something they should not have done. They created an auto-scrolling two-dimensional platformer that would send mass rage upon millions of children living within their own homes. Though it was not released on steam until almost a year and a half later, this game attracted the masses and grew in popularity at an unprecedented very rapid rate. Much like humans, this game would rapidly evolve to the point where it was no longer in control. Maybe the reason such a game has not had an update in 1,993 days is because RobTop no longer wanted people to get addicted. Unfortunately, this was not possible.

The community is what drives this game. Not only are there millions of players, there are levels that are constantly being released, which means there is always content being developed, even if there is no new features being added.

I joined this game long ago, and have since played it for a whopping total of 4,000 hours, I have 26,750 stars, as well as 1,800 demons. This game has taken around 2% of my lifespan, and likely a higher % of many others. This game can be fun, but it often can be just considered a grind. Sure, it's entertaining to watch the numbers go up as you beat, or create more and more levels, but at the end of the day, they're just numbers on a screen. tiny digits in a massive pool of more digits, in a massive pile of more digits. If it were up to me, I would recommend you instead go outside. Get some friends. Climb a mountain or two. This is not my decision, but rather yours. If you would like to play this game, go ahead, but I leave you with a note of caution. This game may be the end of you. Geometry Dash is not a game. It is a lifestyle. Proceed at your own risk.

My name is Monkey D. Luffy. I'm 19 years old. My ship is at the northeast section of New World, where all the Yonkos are, and I became a rubber person after eating the Gomu Gomu no mi. I am the captain of the Strawhat Pirates. I don't smoke or drink, but I occasionally eat meat. I sleep whenever I want, and make sure I get five hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before sleeping, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up from the Doctor Chopper. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very free life. I nake sure to trouble myself with any strong enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to have a good sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Besides, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
