Songbird symphony has instantly shot itself to the top of my favourite games list at record speed, which is rare as the only other game that held so much charm and love was a Hat in Time! But lets get to the grit right away;

This game was made with the love and best efforts of its designers and it shows, every soundtrack, character and level is made with enough effort to rival some of the largest out their. Sure Destiny or Doom and the like have graphics out the wazoo but this game in particular just drew me right away, its 2D style is amazing.

Personal rambling aside the main part of this game is in fact rhythm, shocker I know, and they implement this both in and outside of levels. The music itself is really satisfying to listen to, in fact I loved it so much that I actually went out of my way to REPEAT sections just because they caught me swaying to the beat or just sitting back and listening!

Look I'm no IGN reviewer or anything, I just found this little gem and played it is all...

And sure maybe the developers may never see this but if they do; Thankyou, for giving me a journey that I will remember simply because I had so much fun in running through a game that is simply being its charming self.
