Update (3/10/2022) As of today with patch 1.2.0, co-op is working for people that have over 300 friends. My recommendation is a yes for this game finally, however I didn't get to go through the story with my friend or anything. It defeated the purpose, however it is nice to see they have fixed this issue.

Update (3/7/2022): Quest system is fixed, although co-op is still broken for people that have over 300 friends. I asked Techland if this is currently trying to be fixed and I was told no, that it maybe will be fixed in later versions. My review will stay negative until it is fixed.


(Around 230ish hours at initial review in Feb 2022) - I really do want to give this game a good review, however the quest system is getting better but at times requires you to quit and reload your save to unglitch the story, therefore spawning you to a safe house losing the spot that you was at. Also Co-op option is broken for people that have over 300 friends per Techland. The co-op not working is a huge flaw and as of this time has me to say not recommend until the bugs are fixed.

Well it appears that they have decided to ban another person for inappropriate behavior for 4 days in text chat. It stems back from yesterday's events. I hold firm on my opinion. He wasn't even connected to the behavior of the other guy who got banned. Totally unnecessary to ban him in my opinion. 2 very reputable people banned without warning or prior issues with staff. They went out of their way to do this ban.

I had a prior review, but wasn't serious or anything so I decided to remove that one to update it to this one on 2/22/2023.

I will say the game overall is great and very fun to play. Will not recommend this game because of the soft staff who will go out of their way to do unnecessary things to punish people. I was in a EU server, and someone came into the casino and started playing South Park music. The music did happen to say the n word however it wasn’t used in a discriminatory manner or fashion, hell most of us expect 1 person in there thought it was funny. I believe that if the 1 person wish not to hear it he could have just muted him instead of reporting him. I agree that he should have been punished, maybe fully mic banned. However, some people say he tried to type the word out as well which I strongly disagree of, and don’t recall that. He was at the end of the situation fully mic and text banned, despite this being his first encounter with staff, and he was a very reputable person within the Tower Unite Community. Most of us in the Casino who witnessed this didn’t agree with this outcome, and that is why I am not going to recommend this game to anyone, as it is beyond mind-baffling to know that the rules say no racism or discrimination but none of those occurred. I would also like to point out that someone 30 minutes before this happened called me “♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥” and told me “at least I don’t want to put a 12 gauge to my head” which was reported, but not banned despite it being racist and discriminatory. Unless a Tower dev or staff contacts me, will not be recommending this game to anyone.
