edit: I always thought that people talk out of their ass when they say they're gonna refund. Because it never shows on their reviews, but here I sit, with my money back and Space Marine 2 bought hours ago, and still nothing here.

Wait I know how. Another stellar example of a game with some great, fun ideas, but some suits ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ giving them unrealistic deadlines and this is the result.

It's really sad because the gameplay at it's core (when it actually works) is fun as hell. BUT IT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOESN'T WORK !!!!!

I'm baffled by the amount of positive reviews, and only thing that comes to mind is, it maybe works when you're playing solo. I honestly don't know. Never tried it solo.
I bought it with a friend to have some fun in co op, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we didn't have any idea what can of worms we've just opened. I did read forums and knew that there was some bugs, but this ?

Steam says I've played for 15 hours, at least half of that is trying to ♥♥♥♥ with the game and make it actually work. By that I don't mean crashes or anything like that. Ooooh nooo. To be honest there was a good amount of that too, but that's for later.

Imagine you're playing in a arena, you've killed a few mobs and then a boss spawned, spongebob is his second name btw, but that's ok, or it would be ok if the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ didn't either magically de-spawn, get launched at the speed of light to cosmos, or teleport to the location where you came from, where you can't get to anymore because of the game's dumb mechanic that prevents you from backtracking there and while any of these happened you can't continue, because the game thinks you're still fighting in that arena and prevents you to move outside in any direction.
This also happens a few times with a regular mob that he was the last one, magically get stuck behind a wall, or a barrel, or somewhere where you can't shoot it.
The best thing about this ? There is no reload the checkpoint option in co op. None, you have to quit to main menu, remake the lobby and your friend needs to rejoin and then you can hope the save wasn't far away....

Another one that blocked our progress was at the entrance of the cave where you fight that Markus Corvinus wannabe for the first time. There is a gate that you need to pass through together, but somehow it let my friend go and blocked me from moving, so he had to fight alone and of course get downed, while I was stuck at the other side unable to help him. https://streamable.com/jgfag6

Hit detection is mental also, I was host, that's the important thing to remember, but it felt like I was playing with a friend that's hosting and living on a Pluto. Enemy will attack with AOE, you successfully dodge (at least the game shows that you do) being in a new location, far away from the enemy for a good amount of time before his attack lands, you can clearly see his attack lands on the ground and the AOE effect is far, far away from any direction that you're now. But it just hits you. Feels like I'm playing Gears ranked against Mexicans. Like this:

The animations are totally off, or non-present, walking on the edge near a cliff, climbing on a rope or a chain, slipping thru some thin pass between walls all of this and many other that I don't remember, it either shows the co op partner just slides there, don't grab the chains or just teleport there. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RAW!

BTW to clarify, we have no potatoes and our connection is fiber based, never saw ♥♥♥♥ like that when playing with anybody from the same country. Hell I don't remember seeing problems like this when it was with people from other continent in any of the other games I played....

Few times after down I could normally attack them. It looked like I was downed, the game changed color and the sound changed like it would normally do during that, but I could still fight and be immortal...... https://streamable.com/q1ipgo

Later in the game, you open upgrades menu, perks and ♥♥♥♥, guess what ? When you stay too long in that, the sound gets cranky, then it cuts off and then after a minute or two the whole game crash. And by too long I mean less than a minute. The game will crash even if you close it, but if it starts with the sound errors, you just might reboot it anyway, because it will crash.

Let me sum it up. I did get my money worth, all of the 7€ I paid in sale.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is trash, looks worse than SS 3:BFE, runs like grandma after stroke, really croteam, I mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ really? Not even 100% GPU utilization, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of frame stutters, optimization is like gollum team would do it, which is mental because the game looks the way it looks.......

It have it's moments, some of the gameplay is fine, but cringe as ♥♥♥♥, they really pushed them self's in that department.

Buy in extra discount, otherwise avoid like a plague, play the ones before.

I really don't know if this world is trully going to ♥♥♥♥ and 90% of the player base (based on reviews) is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brain dead, or retarded, or they all are EA employees, but this garbage is stutter fest as is Calisto Protocol.

This is something that I will NOT, EVER, suffer in any game.

I can't remember the time, that game left me speechless and standing at numerous points from the beginning just watching, absorbing the atmosphere.

If you really like Giger's work, and you like games that are filled with atmosphere, this one is for you.

Don't expect that the game will hold your hand tho, you are put in that world and you have to find a way out without any help, but to be honest, the puzzles are simple, very simple.

The only 2 negatives I have:
It's UE4 stuttering, come on devs, it's really bringing the enjoyment down, other than that, the optimization is top notch if they fix that ♥♥♥♥.
The length, yes I wish it was longer.

PS: "Baby" boss and everything around it, it just.....I can't find the proper word for it. But I loved it.

Why would anyone buy this is beyond me, thank ♥♥♥♥ for ea play that costs me 79 cents, to try this and star wars and what a disaster both are. Don't spend even a cent for this, there is an openRA project that is, in terms of gameplay and customization, years ahead of this crap. No waypoints from buildings in a RTS in 2020 is just pure utter ♥♥♥♥. Don't give me this crap, "it is true to the original gameplay". No it's not, in original you didn't have cues for units, you could only build one at a time and click every time for another. In openRa you have also cues for buildings, superpowers are lined up like they are in C&C 3 and custom hotkey could be set for them, also you can set units behaviour, and the whole panel for moves, waipoints and more is there also, but not in here, which costs money and openRA is free. Also in openRA you can zoom out much further, setup the game more to you likings, like disable fog and explore the whole map, disable limit build area, allow debug mode for little more fun and so on.... I couldn't care less about graphics, are you kidding, it's a RTS game. How about you ea ♥♥♥♥♥ finally repair generals zero hour so that we won't get mismatches nearly every single game, or at least share the source code so guys like contra team can finally fix this mess for you, but no and still you keep selling that.

The most retarded checkpoint system I saw in a game ever, the one who make this respawning enemies crap, should stay away from games and clean toilets. Only thing good here, is the saber reflecting blaster shots, everything other is a cheap copy, wanna be souls game. They forget they are doing star wars game. Not even worth 10€. Really 3 force powers ? No force jump ?

Oh yea, nearly forget, constant frame drops when entering new areas, reported by many players, still isn't fixed in 2021, 9700K with 2080Ti, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimization. I can't believe that someone who loves Jedi Knight, mainly Jedi Outcast 2 would like this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
