Because I seem to have lost the announcement for this subject, Im writing this again.
We have switched the Minecraft server over to a new pack. The pack is still in AT Launcher and it is called Solitarycraft. The old IP is the same, but I will post it again.
For installation. Install it like you would any other pack. as far as "optional" mods go, just click "select reccomended" when installing. You may also want to scroll to the top and select the map program of your choice, as that is client-side anyway.
When it installs it will ask you to install a .jar file but it will link to a dead link. here is the file you need: http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/229002-mrtjpcore/2231791
Just drop the file in the mod folder in solitarycraft
should look something like this:
C:\Program Files\ATLauncher\Instances\SolitaryCraft\mods

A little run-down of this style of pack. We have been fairly low traffic, and most people who played on our previous packs were getting bored of the packs we have all played before. I think RR was too similar in some ways to Yogs and not different in enough exciting ways. Combine this with a pack that changed out its mods so often it ended up breaking peoples stuff every other week.
Solitarycraft has a lot of the same mods, with some big players out for the count this time, as well as a few newcomers. However the beginner level game has been revamped with tougher mobs and hazzards, including the inability to make the basic entry level tools with a simple crafting bench. This could conceivably turn a few people off, but to be completely fair, its not like the server was getting any traffic. This changes the game in that, the player is expected to get familiar with tinkers construct and make the beginning tools from that. Which has been very challenging and super rewarding so far. This raises the bar of entry above a pick-up-and-play style we have had in the past to maybe making people actually learn the mods the pack has to offer to get their full enjoyment.
If you need help, we have had a bit of a cooperative going rather succesfully sometime, and you can likely hit up one of the server regulars for a quick question or some help getting some starter gear. In exchange for some quests of course.
