WARNING! Things in this mod may change a lot and a lot of things may be a bit raw.
ANOTHER WARNING! NOT recommended to combine with any other mod unless you know what you're doing (or at least tried the pure version out)

The mod aims to provide more interesting vanilla-eque experience with more challenges and less ridiculous player snowballing. Very TL;DR of changes:

Domain limit is more static, Levies are stronger and MAAs are smaller, leading to vassal contributions mattering for your army and economy.

Economy buildings are weaker, MAAs and Levies get more expensive with time and Court Amenties cost scales with total realm development, leading to less ridicilous late-game economies.
In compensation holdings provide more tax than in vanilla (otherwise 867 would be a slog to play through).

Passive Opinion and Prestige modifiers are nerfed hard while penalties for opposing traits, different culture, faith, low legitimacy and low court grandeur are increased, leading to having to actually do something for characters to like you.

AI is more competent overall and might be at a bit more theatening.


Recommented to use with KGD: Adventurer Nerfs (put this mod BELOW Adventurer Nerfs, later in the load order). There might be issues, including balance ones. when using both, and you probably want to change Adventurer Nerfs default gamerules a bit for a smoother experience.

If you have a "Is it compatible with X" question that means it probably isn't.

@Hilcom no, those are the values, keep in mind health is rolled on birth, so if you checked it on an already existing save then you wouldnt see the difference unless you were to play for a good 50 years or so. I mostly didnt touch things with negative health modifiers (except infirm and depressed i think).

Hey, thank you for the great mod. After I installed the mod, I feel like I am using much more part of the games relevantly, like inspcting AI's gold and buy mercenaries that they can afford first to not allowing them to defend my invasion. But one thing I dislike is the player characters die too soon to make their own stories, which I think one important part of this game. However, reading BKT_changelog, I find you changed this part at the early development, so I think you may not think that is a big problem. So I tried to modify the number in the mod by myself just for me. I thought the relevant file is 'define/BKT_defines.txt' but even after I roll backed the numbers on NCharacter, and NRulerDesigner, it feels like they die too fast randomly(without injuries or other negative things). Is there some other part that I should modify?

@xxxpablo im allergic to flavor. It also doesnt feel vanilla-esque to me, it gives off very much a modded flavor pack vibe and i just dont vibe with that. And at the end of the day i just dont feel like flavor is that big of a problem. Sure, having maybe 1-3 more decisions and maybe some traditions... basically everywhere would be nice, maybe even needed, but any more than that really invades my gameplay and i dont like it.

just curious, why you don't play with RICE? it's basically base mod for most players, adding flavour and more content (just content, not new mechanics) so it's vanilla-eque.

i'd love if that would be compatible with RICE as well. RICE is like base mod of all other modlists - that will probably make this mod a lot more popular

@k.lyric ИИшка и так пытается по нужной линии женить наследников, в том числе основного, я ХОТЕЛ прикрутить такое же для старшей дочери просто он постабильнее был но там это как-то сложно выходит, а сильно дороже эту всю логику делать не стоит.
Когда иишка хостит активности они обычно кудато уезжают и садится регент, что легко заметить, я смотрел и вроде как там вполне все нормально.
Хп может можно было бы сделать повыше максимальное, но откатывать я его не собираюсь

Один раз видел, как император СРИ женил своего старшего сына матрилинейно на какой то всратой графине Бискайи. По моему в АГОТ была опция, чтобы ИИшка пыталась женить своего старшего сына патрилинейно и старшую дочь матрилинейно. Вот в игре такой сильно не хватает

Проблем с наследованием у ИИ тоже как будто нет, ну вернее есть, но они другого характера. Аквитания, Гасконь, Тулуза, да и вообще почти вся франция ни разу не поделились за всё время. Все титулы всегда были у одного наследника. Хз, мб боту так везло просто. Проблема ИИ в том, что бот не умеет менеджить браки. СРИ тупо лутает земли нихера не делая, потому что граф Ван дер ♥♥♥ женат на единственной дочке графа за три пизды от него.

Ну хз, я в файлах поменял здоровье на базовое и за всё время видел только несколько персонажей ближе к 70, остальные стабильно умирают в возрасте между 50 - 60. Я просидел в СРИ полторы сотни лет, кто нибудь бы пригласил точно, но там никто ничего не делал. Ставить сложность выше это сюр, там вся настройка сложности просто отваливает кучу тупых бафов для бота, вместо того, чтобы нормальные скрипты ему делать
