I am literally hearing weird and corrupted sounds, after i disabled the addon, how do i fix it

How come on some maps like gm_flatgrass don't have soundscapes,(Like if I shoot one of my guns, the sounds echo off into the distance. However, that is not the case with flatgrass. In the past I remembered it having soundscape, but nowadays in the new updates of GMod, it no longer has it.) but on other maps like gm_construct, have soundscapes?

The only sounds that have this issue is doormove1.wav and doormove2.wav, all the other doormove wavs work perfectly fine.

When opening combine doors and such, the sound is very shrieking, and ear rapey, any idea what could be causing this issue? When I listen to the sounds in the .gma file they sound just fine, but in game they sound very loud and ear piercing. Other than that very good sounds

yeah i can see that for like the minigun rev up for tf2 or i even had to do that for doors, but elevators are looping sounds. it is what it is.

Apparently someone else found the problem to be with the startup sound, specifically it turns out the length has to be eith the same as the original or a multiple of it. They said they're not sure why it happens and that they've had the problem when making custom sounds for TF2.

With it enabled and disabled. Enabled it loops forever, disabled it stops. It doesn't matter what else I enable or disable, elevator_loop01 or whatever it's called just can't be terminated no matter what. It can't be just on my end, can it?

all the cues work fine, i think it's just whatever map youre running, there is a flag in hammer that you can check that is "loop sound" thats probably the issue, and that i cannot fix.

The elevator loop seems to be broken, it just loops forever once started. The game appears to be unable to stop it when it should, possibly because it's expecting the original sound to still be there or something. This might warrant further investigation.

In any sound conflict, one will override the other. In any model conflict, they cease to exist and the console spams one vertex error per frame. Not sure how the Matter Manipulator works in that case...
